  1. Really laughable, have you guys run out of ideas such that you can waste our time with this nonsense? The authority will conduct a awareness campaign? Where? In shangombo you moron? People are failing to buy even a bag of meal meal and you clamoring about drones? Do you know how much a drone costs? These are the people we have put in charge of such positions? My heart bleeds.

    • Yes these are the people we have put in charge of such positions, and they are working. Imwe fyonse kuilishanya kanshi mwaba shani?

    • #baMwine, You should desist from insulting language it spoils your reasoning and shows the public the level at which you are. We know that it is normal for some of the opposition leaders to use such derrogatory words to the public but be told here and now that it is uncivilised to use insults each time you do not agree with what is being done or said. Insults belong to the dustbin or at best to desperate politicians.

  2. Good move. Some drones can be a danger to air traffic especially if they are operated by children and also some people (including thieves) use drones to spy on other people’s property and activities. This move will certainly curtail crime.

In the same vein RTSA should get people whose cars have tint on their windows to register or apply to have tint and one should have good reason to want to have tint. Tinted cars have become dens of crime both during day and night time. RTSA/Police should be empowered to stop and search every tinted vehicle at any time. Cars that have tint from the factory should not be an exception so that one must think twice before ordering such a car. This license can be an added income to govt coffers.

  3. So I have to get a license for a birthday present for my 13 year old nephew …am sure just getting the same form there is a K100 charge as they like forms and date stamps in Zambia even for things you can do online.

  4. The name drone comes from the male bee called drone. This bee makes a buzzing noise. In Germany the government has no strict measures and it allows DHL to use drones to deliver items on an island

  5. Bamwine don’t expose your ubututu on this forum. Everyone knows what dangers can be posed by drones especially to aircraft. Even the UK government is regulating the use of drones and every normal person would support this move. Go back to school wechipuba iwe. Do some research before vomiting your trash, government is doing a commendable job on this matter.

  6. Regulations have been in place for more than a year now..

What is going on in this country? Have we all lost our memory?

Whatever. Zambia is in the 1980s in regards to technology. The more we suffocate new industries for the sake of non existent “safety” concerns… The longer we stay in the past.

The further back we fall from the developing technology. And the harder climb we have to reinitiate our citizens into the technological world.

  7. Imposed a mandatory licenses on Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems commonly known as Drones ensure that they obtain licenses.

    What demonic English is this?
