VEEP Nalumango’s Muchinga visit postponed-Bwalya

Muchinga Province Permanent Secretary Tuesday Bwalya has announced the postponement of Vice President Mutale Nalumango’s scheduled working visit to the province.

Dr Bwalya said Mrs Nalumango’s visit, which was expected to commence today, will now take place on dates to be communicated later.

He urged the public and all stakeholders to treat the announcement as official communication, adding that the government regrets any inconvenience caused by the change in programme.

The Provincial Permanent Secretary disclosed this in a statement issued to the media in Chinsali District.

Earlier, Dr Bwalya had announced that the Vice President was scheduled to undertake a five-day working visit to Muchinga Province.

Mrs Nalumango was expected to arrive yesterday, Friday, June 19, 2026, and was expected to conclude her visit on Tuesday.
