The ruling PF has grabbed the Chilanga Council Chairperson seat from the UPND after its candidate Annie Brown emerged victorious.
The PF will run manage the Council and the parliamentary seat with Maria Langa as Member of Parliament.
The UPND held the seat with late Maria Malila as Council Chairperson but its candidate George Muleya could only manage to poll 4,396.
PF’s Annie Brown led the pack after polling 6,776 votes.

Politicians should learn to show respect to the voters by asking for a vote with meekness and humbleness. Do your research and then come out to meet your employer once you are sure you are able to sale your manifestation to your boss.
The idea of coming to your bosses with demeaning attitude and showing off your intellectual which is usually outside the syllabus of your electorate does not count but it just brings defeat and shame at the end of the day.
