Last month, the Kitwe City Council offered plots for sale in Kafue Park to successful applicants and gave us a period of one month in which to pay. Failure would result in the same plots be given to some other people. A lot of money is needed. We have come to learn that this was a deliberate move to deprieve people of land. They know that January especially comes with it’s financial challenges, Rentals, school fees. Name it.We are appealing to the Hon.Minister of lands Jean Kapata to intervene so that a reasonable grace period is considered. At least ninety days. Ba Mayo twafweni. We cant just say much. This is a social media.
