He identified the driver of the truck as Lloyd Kashanga, 48, of Mikomfwa Township who was accompanied by Geshom , 24 also of Luanshya and are still in police custody.

Mr. Chibuye said police have instituted an investigation into the matter.

He further warned that government would not tolerate lawlessness from citizens and that the law will catch up with perpetrators in the district.

He implored Luanshya residents to endeavour to support investors and not steal from them.

He has since commended Luanshya police through the office of the commanding officer for remaining vigilant in combating criminal activities in the district.
