Kansanshi Dynamos shot to the top of the FAZ Division One Zone 2 table after thumping Roan United 4-0 away at Kafubu Stadium in Luanshya on Saturday.

The Solwezi side toppled Trident – who went into the weekend action as leaders before losing 2-1 at home against promoted Chingola Leopards.

Experienced striker Nasha Kaya, Girese Muyumba, Royd Alphonso and Sammy Chitete scored for Kansanshi in this Week 3 match against Roan.

Kansanshi lead Zone 2 via a superior goal difference with seven points after posting two wins and a draw.

Second placed Konkola Blades also sits on seven points following Saturday’s 1-0 win over visitors ZNS Lwamfumu at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.

Striker Erick Chisala scored the only goal for Konkola.

Trident dropped from the top into third place and remains on six points.

Nchanga Rangers forced a 1-1 draw at Zesco Mansa to move to four points after playing three matches.

In Zone 1, Zesco Malaiti Rangers, Romeki and National Assembly all maintained a perfect start after posting their third wins of the season.

Malaiti hammed City of Lusaka 5-1 to stay top with nine points.

Romeki FC thumped Happy Hearts of Chirenje 4-1 while National Assembly were 1-0 winners over Kafue Celtic.
