MONDAY’S PRO’S HIT LIST

Here are selected briefs from our foreign-based Chipolopolo stars that were in action over the weekend.

SOUTH AFRICA:
Goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene on Saturday played the full 90 minutes for defending champions and second placed Mamelodi Sundowns’ 2-1 away league win over Wedson Nyirenda ‘s relegation battling Baroka FC.


DR CONGO

Zambia captain and defender Kabaso Chongo including his predecessor midfielder Rainford Kalaba played the full 90 minutes in Sunday’s big DRC derby showdown away in Kinshasa against AS Vita.
The match ended 0-0
Nathan Sinkala was an unused substitute.
Vita lead on 71 points from 29 games with one match left to play while Mazembe are second on 68 points with five games in hand.


FRANCE

Metz: Promoted Metz stayed unbeaten for a thirteenth successive league game when they beat 16th placed Ligue 2 side Ajaccio 2-0 away on Friday.
Defender Stopilla Sunzu played the full 90 minutes.

Beziers: Beziers bought some time in their Ligue 2 relegation battle when they shocked mid-table side Valenciennes 6-5 away on Friday.
Midfielder Emmanuel Banda played the full 90 minutes but was not on target for the second from bottom side but was not on target.

BELGIUM
Striker Fashion Sakala returned from a brief injury layoff and played the full 90 minutes on Saturday in KV Oostende’s 0-0 away draw at Westerlo.


AUSTRIA

RB Salzburg: Midfielder Enock Mwepu was an unused substitute while striker Patson Daka came on in the 57th minute of the leaders and defending champions 1-1 away draw against St Polten on Sunday.

Altech:
Striker Brian Mwila was not selected for Altech’s 2-2 home draw on Saturday against Rapid Vienna in their relegation playoff round match.

  1. What list have they hit if they never scored. Please spare us the crap. This is the reason we fail to qualify even for African cup of nations. You call them and you expect to see wonders when nothing is happening in clubs they are playing.

  2. Comment: Don’t talk rubbish when you have even played football yourself keep it up guys even those pofferssionals they do miss qualifications it’s just the matter of time remember 2012
