The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEC) mounted a Thursday afternoon raid on Football Association of Zambia’s base at Football House in Lusaka.
DEC officers, armed with a warrant, confiscated equipment from the office of FAZ general secretary Adrian Kashala.
“The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) wishes to inform its membership and stakeholders that its operations have been partially paralyzed following a raid by Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) officers,” FAZ spokesperson Sydney Mingala said in a statement.
“Drug Enforcement Commission officers descended on the institution this afternoon (Thursday) and got away with a laptop and CPU from the office of the General Secretary Adrian Kashala and a desktop from his personal assistant.
“The FAZ officials fully cooperated with the DEC officers and have pledged full compliance with the law enforcement agencies.
“Officers from the Drug Enforcement Commission presented a search warrant looking for drugs and narcotics and other related substances.
“FAZ is however disturbed by the nature of the operations conducted by DEC especially that it has set the benchmark of conducting its business above board.
“As FAZ we wish to reiterate that we operate on an open door policy and remain available to whoever wishes to seek information within the law.”
Wow…we are in for a long eventful period to next year’s elections. The icing on the cake will be the outcome from the concourt….
Drugs and narcotics?!! Something is not tallying here. Kamanga and team are in for a rough patch before the elections. Someone is really determined to not go down without a fight.
That’s how government starts intimidating faz officials so that they can give in to their demand to let the thief kalusha stand for faz president. First the threats from the minister which didn’t work because Fifa doesn’t respond to interference. Next to court cases followed by CAS which also failed. Now we resort to intimidation.

Try state house, then proceed to cabinet minister houses, starting with Chilufya, then Chitotela, then Kampyongo, then Kapata, then Banda, then Lubinda, then Lusambo, then Mushimba, then Siliya, Kambwili…..

Yes we know you D.E.C and the ACC whatever your new titles are. In matters of this nature you want to show that you are professionals and act very quickly and swiftly. Something you never do when it comes to cases involving politicians. Your hands are always trebling when dealing with real corrupt issues involving politicians. Now you want to find issues with FAZ. We are not defending them because we are blank as to what exactly is going on. But we don’t want false accusations just because you are being personal or just trying to find FAZ with a case to answer for the sake of Kalusha. Remember that the word says you will know the truth and the truth will make you free.

Too late! They should have moved in immediately those pompwe stole and destroyed the main computer saver on which was all information about Kamanga’s criminal activities. Kashal as a former Buju thinks by destroying the saver then they’ve destroyed evidence. Why didn’t Zambia Buju investigate the theft reported by Kazala and Shenko?

We know its ka Kampyongo and ka Andrew Mulenga behind this, you may think you are clever but your time to answers your own queries will come. Whatever you do Kalusha Bwalya will never come back to Zambian football, you are just destroying the beautiful game of soccer in Zambia because everybody will get demoralized.
I wish the same thing could be done to those corrupt ministers and their ministries
