UPND Spokesman Cornelius Mweetwa is hallucinating-Musukwa

Share

Patriotic Front National Mobilization Committee Chairperson Richard Musukwa has rubbished claims by UPND National Spokesman Cornelius Mweetwa that he was offered K6 million and a vehicle to join the ruling party.

Mr Musukwa who is Minister of Mines and Minerals Development says Mr Mweetwa is practicing dangerous politics by making unfounded allegations.

He warned that Mr Mweetwa’s political antics will soon catch up with him.

He has challenged Mr Mweetwa to come out in the open and substantiate his claims which he says amount to criminality.

“I called Cornelius on Sunday in the evening after I saw his press briefing and I asked him to substantiate his allegations. He just said “big man, these are just politics, we are in a political season so just forget about it”, I was shocked about his casual approach to politics,” Mr Musukwa said.

Mr Musukwa described Mr Mweetwa as a political demagogue who is seeking political relevance.

Mr Musukwa has urged Zambians to ignore the Choma Central Member of Parliament who he says is seeking political relevance.

Mr Mweetwa revealed on Sunday during a press briefing in Choma that Mr Musukwa, Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo and his Southern Province counterpart Edify Hamukale have been wooing him to join the PF promising to pay him K6 million and a vehicle.

  1. GBM had hinted that some UPND Bigwigs were going to defect to PF. Its obvious PF pays huge sums of Money to bribe the Defectors. When u see the whole VEEP dishing out money to buy votes in Solwezi it doesn’t surprise anybody. Corruption has become part of PF. “Uubomba Mwibala Alya Mwibala “. Thats the PF Moto.

  3. Musukwa can only shout at UPND who has irrefutable proof. Why do PF go with criminal characters? Because they see corruption as a way of life? August 12 can’t come soon enough to vote the worst government in Africa out!

  5. I am not surprised this govt can sink so low. PF govt of corrupt Lazy Lungu is corrupt just look at how they rewarded that opposition MP who voted for Bill 10 even then they were allegations of corruption …what more a big fish like Mweetwa given that he is the Head of Parliamentary Committee on corruption and very intelligent man.
Just look at how Lazy Lungu was so desperate to see the catholic Priest in Chipata after he refused his bribes …this is a man who flew out of the country years ago when the same Priests organised an interparty meeting today he is chasing them all over the place like a shameless randy dog.

  6. This govt is capable just look at how the rat Tayali and Nawakwi are suddenly jumping up and down like someone has put £100 in coins in a jukebox. The boy has even called a Press conference in Findlays Hotel Charisma

  7. PF lost it’s integrity a long time ago due to corruption. They can’t tell us who was behind the burning of markets, the gassing, who killed the guy in Sesheke, why Kaunda and Nsama were killed, and why there is so much lawlessness that even Nawakwi has become the commander in chief to issue commands to police on who to arrest. The entire PF leadership is very quiet and dumbfounded.

  8. This is a government of thieves by thieves for the people. They always stealing in the name of development. Those that are a bit wise can save some money to pay for their up coming court cases after elections.

  9. Mweeta was wanting to defect because he knows he cant win in Choma again. That is why he had initially said he will not stand. Even UPND knew about that and that is why they appointed him spokes person.

  10. Who expects these PF gangsters to accept their actions of bribing opponents to gain popularity?.

These PF witches and wizards can do anything to remain in power but we haven’t forgotten how MMD used and it appears PF enjoy this , typ of politics too much.

PF gangsters have run out of ideas and they’re simply using any means to remain in power.

They have stolen a lot from foreign debts tgry have been acquiring, it is assumed that 70% of these debts are in PF officials’ private accounts including the vice president and Edgar Lungu.

    PF must go!

  11. They have been dishing out huge amounts of Money to bribe voters thru various Empowerment Deals so why couldn’t they bribe the UPND Bigwigs? One of the UPND Defectors to PF was telling Senior UPND Leaders that they are missing alot and that he is “eating” plenty. GMB said if anyone wants to grow a big tummy like his they must join PF. PF’s DNA is Corruption so if u want to eat big u join PF. “Uubomba Mwibala Alya Mwibala”. Thats the PF Moto.

  12. NO ONE TRUST PF GUYS AS AT NOW. YOU HAVE NEVER DONE SOMETHING WRONG AND AGREE THAT I OR WE DID IT SO I AM/ WE ARE SORRY. BWANA MUSUKWA YOU ARE A MINISTER OF MINES YES THAT MUCH YOU KNOW BUT AFTER DISOLVING THE PARLIAMENT YOU WILL BE FORMER SO AS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO WITH BILL 10 TO REMAIN IN OFFICE UPTO THE LAST DAY.
IF ONE SAYS YOU SAID IT, WE ALL KNOW WHO IS SPEAKING THE TRUTH AND WHO IS LYING. LAST WEEK THE VICE PRESIDENT WAS ISSUING OUT MONEY IN SOLWEZI BUT WHEN YOU ASK HER SHE WILL SAY SHE IS NOT THE ONE AND YET ALL ZAMBIANS KNOW THAT SHE IS THE ONE. SO BWANA JUST KEEP QUIET AND WAIT FOR YOUR RE- ELECTION OF PARLIAMENTARY SEAT ON THE 12 AUGUST PERIOD.

  13. Mr Musukwa should have filed a complaint with the police so that he can go and prove his claims in court. This type of politics mweetwa is practicing are simply sichupiti and furishi politics.

  14. Mweetwa is just another WALLY for BALLY. Shame, coz I had expected a lot from him from his UNZA days.

  15. All cheap and dirty tricks are carried out under UPND leader Hichilema. He is the mastermind behind every evil thing. Some members do exactly what HH says while others leave the party for self-dignity.

  16. We have seen the condition of Americans under Trump’s leadership. By God’s grace, we didn’t have to go through such helpless feelings as the majority of Zambians never voted for Zambian Trump HH aka #Bally!

  17. I don’t understand why UPND is still there as a political party. I have never seen its leader HH or any members doing any sort of social or productive work, never helped Zambians in the time of Covid-19 pandemic and floods. UPND is just known for opposing the government, development schemes, spread lies. Basically, they are famous for only promoting negativity in Zambia.

  18. Only few months left. All this drama of UPND will be over after the elections. Till then, we have to bear with them and their political circus.

  21. This is not the first time UPND has put allegations on PF. I think their motto is to target PF to get the public attention.

  22. I want our government to take strict action against UPND members. They are spreading lies, fake stories, and manipulating people by creating chaos. UPND is damaging the country’s peace and this is unacceptable!

  23. First, they do some drama, defame and insult President Lungu and PF to get publicity and after that, they apologies. Pathetic UPND!
