Red Arrows Football Club President Colonel Moses Kambimbi has urged supporters to remain united and disciplined as the Airmen prepare for the new season and a return to CAF Confederation Cup football.
Col. Kambimbi led the Executive Committee in engaging supporters during a meet and greet luncheon held at Nkoloma Stadium recently. The event was aimed at charting the way forward and strengthening relations between the club and its fan base ahead of the Transitional League.
“We need strong mobilisation for the team from all of you our supporters but this must be done in an orderly manner. Ladies and gentlemen, I must emphasise that at Red Arrows there is no room for hooliganism or indiscipline. Let us continue supporting the Red Arrows with unity, respect and professionalism,” Col. Kambimbi said.
The President reaffirmed the club’s commitment to open engagement with supporters, describing them as an integral part of Red Arrows’ continued growth and success.
Speaking on behalf of the fans, Supporters’ Coordinator Stanley Banda pledged total support during the Transitional League and beyond. He assured the leadership of the supporters’ commitment to promoting unity, discipline and positive fan conduct.
Arrows finished as runners-up in the just-ended Super League season and have made their intentions clear ahead of the new campaign.
The club has reinforced its squad with five new signings to boost its push for silverware and continental competition:
NEW SIGNINGS:
1. Owen Mwamba – Composed defender from Mufulira Wanderers. Former captain brings experience, discipline and leadership to the backline.
2. Eliya Mandanji – Chipolopolo forward from Kafue Celtic. Golden Boot winner with Zanaco last season while on loan. Adds goals and attacking energy.
3. Munda Phiri – Versatile winger from Kabwe Warriors. Known for pace, creativity and ability to take on defenders.
4. Elvis Mulenga – Technically gifted midfielder from Kafue Celtic. Brings composure and work rate to the engine room.
5. Amon Chulu – Disciplined left-back from Nkana. Former U-20 international adds depth and tactical understanding.
The club has also recalled defender Patson Mpande from his development spell at River Plate. The Red Arrows youth product returns with added experience.
With five new faces and Mpande’s return, the message from Nkoloma is clear: Coach Chisi Mbewe is building a formidable squad for another title challenge and a strong CAF Confederation Cup campaign
