I agree, but I think it should also be shown on both Muvi Tv, ZNBC Tv and the other local stations to sensitise the nation.
This is both sad and embarrassing.
People stealing tax money and they get to be flown to RSA when they are sick. …. It’s making me sick to think that people are even calling for national prayers when the poor of the poorest are being neglected.
The sad thing is this reckless gov’t borrowed about $200m to buy personal to holder cars when there are no ambulances.
Stanley is an outstanding man, which very few Zambians are in term of helping their communities for free. We must nominate him for CNN heroes and pool some money to buy him a new bike and mattress. Standing ovation for stanley Chibaza!
I wish this man could look straight in the camera when speaking.
He does not do interviews always. It is hard to practice something you are not accustomed to.
IS LOOKING IN THE EYE GOING TO SERVE MORE LIVES THAN HE IS SERVING BY BIKING PATIENTS TO THE CLINICS/HOSPITALS. CHIPATA BICYCLES MADE IN A FACTORY BY INDIAN ARE SO WEAK WHILE A BICYCLE MADE OUTSIDE IN THE DUST WITH PRIMITIVE TOOLS ARE ROBUST, DURABLE AND LOOK MORE STYLISH. IS ZAMBIA REALLY LOOKING FOR FOREIGN INVESTORS TO COME AND INDUSTRIALISE THE COUNTRY. THE ONE WHO STARTED ZAMBIKE IS REALLY AN INNOVATOR AND DESERVES TO BE HELPED BY BUILDING HIM A FACTORY IN ONE OF THE MFEZ LOCATIONS BY THE GOVERNMENT. GIVEN A PROPER ENVIRONMENT THIS GUY CAN BE ONE OF THE MAJOR EMPLOYER OF SKILLED/UNSKILLED ZAMBIANS AND EXPORT OF FINISHED GOODS TO THE NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES AND BEYOND. IS THE GOVERNMENT JUST LOOKING AT HIM?
Politics of poverty, greed, appeasement and selfishness. same crooks under different party slogans, yet you still dream of change! If you think HH will bring the desired change, you have another thing coming. Look at the scroungers surrounding him…Major Kachingwe, William Banda (special advisor to HH) etc. Our Politics of full of jokers….Kelvin Sampa now candidate for Kasama, Doria Siliya now MP petuauke under different party slogan……Only God can save us
Whatever happened to our Luangwa Bicycles in Chipata? That Stanley Ambulance man needs assistance especially for the commendable voluntary work his is carrying out in that ambulance bike that is an accident waiting to happen as it has no reflectors, lighting to show its an emergency bike.
As for Zambikes everything is wrong about that company especially if you watched the video to the end…bad management, bad public relations …not going anywhere wouldn’t invest in such a company.
I am mauless and ashamed…………….
I have seen this kind of initiative in the rural areas of Zambia too especially Muchinga and Eastern. the challenge is that they can not be used in bad road networks which exist in the rural areas and since the pipo who run these bikes are not on salary, they cant easily maintain them should they have issues.
My take is that they should be probably under the maintenance of the health facility under which catchment they carter. otherwise a number of lives have been saved in this way and they need to be commended for what they are doing.
Touching story. This guy really needs to be helped with donations from us ordinary folk.
lets chip in to help the bicycle ambulance guy.
