First Lady Thandiwe Banda said her vision is to see that the number of traditional birth attendants are well educated and adequately equipped in order to provide quality maternal and child health especially in rural Zambia. This is according to the press release by the Zambian Embassy press secretary Ben Kangwa

Mrs Banda said the growing reluctance of qualified medical personnel to serve in the rural areas has contributed to the poor quality health delivery in remote areas

She observed that sometimes pregnant women die in their homes or on the way walking to the hospital because the traditional attendants do not have simple transport such as a bicycle to transport them to the health centre .

She noted that providing basic transport such as a bicycle which costs $85 would expand reproductive health coverage in rural areas.

She was making a power point presentation at a high level panel of African First Ladies that included Madame Adelcia Barreto Pires of Cape Verde, Mrs. Idah Odinga of Kenya and Her Royal Highness Queen Inkhosikazi Lambikiza of Swaziland in Los Angeles this afternoon, Mrs. Banda said there was need for Multi-national companies such as Exxon Mobil Corporation, the Rand Corporation, General Electric including the World Health Organisation and Vital Voices to work together with the African First Ladies to bettering the lives of other Africans.

“Let me make an earnest appeal to the partners in this summit to lend their support to this cause that I have embarked on so that together we can reduce maternal and neonatal mortality rate in Zambia, “ she said.

The First Lady is in Los Angeles to participate in the African First Ladies Summit on Leadership for Health. On her delegation is the Hon. Minister of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources. The delegation is supported by the Ambassador to the United States Dr. Inonge Mbikusita-Lewanika

  1. Thandiwe’s cause on the issue of traditional birth attendants is a worthy cause and she should be highly commended for taking it up. As far as the picture goes, she did not look bad at all, because when you look at Mama Cameroon, one is lost for words. Well not really, I am sorry to say this but Mama Cameroon looks like a drag queen. Angola and Swaziland would tango with the best of them any day!

  2. I wonder how King Mswati of Swaziland picks which wife to represent him. And now Zuma will have the same problem to deal with..

Anyway, yes indeed this is a worthy cause by our first lady. You have our backing as always

  3. Standing back row from left: Ida Odinga wife of Kenyan prime minister; Hadjia Laraba Tandja of Niger; Penehupifo Pohamba of Namibia; Thandiwe Banda of Zambia; Maria da Luz Dai Guebuza of Mozambique; Mathato Sarah Mosisili of Lesotho and Sia Nyama Koroma of Sierra Leone. Seated front row from left: Adelcia Barreto Pires of Cape Verde; Chantal Biya of Cameroon; Ana Paula Dos Santos of Angola; Queen Inkhosikati LaMbikiza of Swaziland and Dr. Turai Umaru Yar’Adua of Nigeria.

  4. Oh Mama Cameroon , She is the ONE,She is keeping the cameroonian flag high. What is on her head imwe bantu?

  5. Thandiwe did beautifully. Well done sister! Cameroon first lady resembles inyau and you all thought it was Thandie who was going to look bad.

  6. # 8 sharp shooter, I am trying really hard not to say too much about Mama Cameroon because she has completely floored me!!!!

  7. First lady who gave you this wrong idea? Traditional Birth attendants though vital are merely a stop-gap measure.Advocate for increased funding to midwifery schools and increased schools , improved ambulance services in the rural areas , rural incentives for health staff …the idea of bicycles indicates limited thinking how about flood prone areas, think of speed boats for such areas , expanded flying doctors service and many others …. third world thinking indeed.

  8. Thandiwe Looks more beautiful and decently dressed, thanks to all LT ladies (bloggers) that helped her see the light.

  9. #13 Wisemman-reborn – Baby steps. With everyone’s support Zambia will make it. Bashing government all the time is tired!!

  10. Nigerian first lady (seated right) wouldnt look the Camera in the eye after all those scams from her fellow country men that has cheated unsuspecting Americans out of alot of money.

  11. #15 It is far from bashing the govt , what are long term measures,? we might as well starting thinking of more untrained teachers in rural areas as solutions to shortage of teachers , not a solution or reserve police to replace actual police officers …. What are the agreements on MDG of making pregnancy safe ……increased midwifery schools etc ….Lets look at a big picture , a summit of such nature requires stimulating ideas and thinking …

  12. MMD Chief Bootlicker. With the little knoeledge I know about polygamy,Mai Guru is the one who has an upper hand.so for Zuma its solved but for King Mswati Its tricky(Too many and sure sure mai guru is old).By the way,how is the licking business?

  13. #18 Wiseman-reborn have you at any time submitted your ideas to Govt and were rejected? If we just vent on this blog without letting our ideas be heard by the right power who can actually do something about it, then our comments are futile. You have good suggestions, talk to someone, start with me for example, I know people.

  14. Nothing personal against the first lady, only she focused on the minor issues of reproductive health leaving major solutions , she is in an influential and privileged position to speak on behalf of Zambia. An advocacy for example of having a midwifery school in each provincial capital would make sense.

  15. #20 Good idea, actually I speak to officials back home , I write as I do because I know the people in the Ministry read our comments…..It is important to be factual , flattery as never been my hobby

  16. #19 Thanks, well the licking business is now calm everybody now know where their bread is buttered. It should go up several notches next year with the convention happening and trying to see where the dice for 2011 will fall

  17. #23wiseman, I mean really implementing these ideas! For example, you can start the initiative in your town/province back home and sponsor a midwife or two. You will be amazed at how much support there is when you start something like that. I am saying this because I have initiated a community project in my town in Zambia and it works well.

  18. I must say i am impressed with Thandiwe’s note and the explaination, thats a sound and just cause which would require attention. I would suggest that as our nurses/doctors graduate .. the Government should make it a point that some of them get posted in rural areas for a couple of years. I know it sounds brutal but i would suggest making their conditions of service attractive and thus training more nurses to get employed around the country (job creation). Bottom line educate more nurses and make their conditions attractive; in the process we can begin the development of rural areas. Even ensuring that the locals get an education and the training to be employed

  19. Mikomfwa, you are doing a good job if you have started some kind of community initiative, thats what we need, i look forward to find a cause to support at home- i am considering something to do with Children

  20. Madam Thandiwe thats great. You are being active as a first lady.Imwe the first lady of Cameroun pali fashion.

  21. #26 Mikonfwa, Hospital delivery or health center delivery is the best. Has it ever occurred to you what would happen when there are obstetric complications .e.g transverse lie , massive hemorrhage and there is home delivery by a traditional birth attendant ….Death either of the baby or the mother …. With Pregnancy mothers die let us make it safe going backwards wont help matters….

  22. ahhhh guys no offense but thez one first lady on the pic who looks like Tshala Mwana, (am sure you remember that chic form Congo, who had something to do with VJ..lol.) am sure ya’ll can figure out whom am talking about in the pic. For the first time am kinda confortable with displaying our first lady to the world, i hope this i will conitinue. Anyways coming to the more important issue, i think what Thandiwe brought out is something that this government and the world at large should take seriously into consideration, we have lost alot of mothers in ways that we shouldnt be loosing human lives. We need to educate those people in the rural areas and even imporve our health facilities to accomodate all kind of maternity problems.

  23. #33 Angola started a program whereby they are training midwives to deal with such complications, maybe we could copy from them. #29 Canucks, hospitals and schools are good places to start for children’s projects. If you guys would like to talk more on this, lets try to talk outside of here.

  24. Mrs. Banda said there was need for Multi-national companies such as Exxon Mobil Corporation, the Rand Corporation, General Electric including the World Health Organisation and Vital Voices to work together with the African First Ladies to bettering the lives of other Africans.

    Now we are singing
“WE ARE THE WORLD” song written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.

    God help us.

  25. # 32, Sharp Shooter, I have no idea where Mama Grace is, but if my guess is correct, the travel embargo imposed on her husband has also been extended to her. Otherwise, we would have included her on the list of first ladies who can hold their own in public. I have never actually seen her legs. # 35, Shocked, your point is valid and it starts with small steps. Thandiwe is being criticized for not looking at the bigger picture but what she has decided to do is to take a ‘bottom-up’ approach to connecting the dots. The reality on the ground is that in the absence of medical personnel in rural areas, there is need to make use of the available human resource (traditional birthh attendants) to avoid preventable deaths. Same programs are being implemented in different parts of the world.

  26. By the way, there are a lot of NGOs and international organizations that have forked out money to provide basic medical training to traditional birth attendants. Most NGOs have technical facilitators that work closely with these ladies to observe how the program is progressing. I am sure that if you could pull out the statistics, you will find that traditional birth attendants have contributed significantly to reducing pregnancy related deaths in rural areas.

  27. Criticism as every one knows has be classified into two extreme positions , either constructive or destructive criticism,so we are made to believe. How ever there are purely points of observation whether in agreements or disagreement. The position of the first Lady is very exalted and expectancy of great things to come from that is normal ……45 years after independence and all we talk about are stop-gap measures, not an encouraging picture for Zambia……

  28. How many grade 12 youngsters do we produce on the streets every year …… Let us train all these …….Yes it is a money making venture workshops for the TBAs training. Would any one of you (females)want to be delivered by the TBAs….. Let the first lady have a first hand experience of being delivered by the TBAs…..even at State house

  29. hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, Cameroon. Michelle Obama probably did not attend this meeting because most of the wives shown here are married to dictators. Back to the hair on mrs Cameroon lol. The Angolan first lady is the naturally beautiful one, simple too. Swazi is nice too, our Thandiwe is beaming; flourish my dear and live with advice for your husband.

  30. #37,1984 we are heading to a world global order, one world bank, one government, its time to take heed to the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (B.I.B.L.E).

  31. Cameroon first lady has sent word, “Please, this is LA I jthought I could get a chance to be cast in the Lion King, this is not my usual hair,”

  32. # 41, When you give women a choice as to whether or not they would want to have a TBA deliver their baby, the obvious answer would be no. Let’s put this in the context in which the idea was conceived; TBAs are used in remote areas and even in some high density areas in urban places, where most pregant women face constraints that prevent them from seeking medical attention at clinical facilities, in other words, these women do not have a choice. Their best option is to use what is available to them AND if what is available is a TBA then yes, they would gladly put their fate in the hands of these people.

  33. We are all very conversant with the fact that Moses of the bible was delivered by the TBA….. yet times have changed …. the woman did a good job yet let us train more midwives ….

  34. # 45, Mikomfwa, you crack me up, lol. I have close family in Mikomfwa, used to take my school holidays there when I was younger.

  35. #47, Times have not really changed because even in the most developed countries, women make the choice of having their babies delivered in their homes where they invite certified individuals vested in ‘home deliveries’ to birth their babies. Is this any different from our own TBAs? Not really, the only difference with our friends in the developed world is that they have the luxury of making this choice, I cannot say the same for our pregnant mothers back home.

  36. #46 Do you really know , what most of these TBAs have caused , uterine ruptures by their concoctions .Have you seen a TBA as a young person .As a point of compromise let us train the likes of Kazungula Grade drop outs as TBAs for livelihood, by the way TBAs even charge fees not for free..How about PMTCT adherence rules to early placenta membrane rupture……

  37. # 51, I thought it best to slot in this excerpt from Wikipedia to let you know what my understanding of a TBA is and my perspective as an individual who has had interactions with such people. The only caveat that I will add to this is that efforts are now being made to provide formal training to these women. ‘A traditional birth attendant (TBA), also known as a traditional midwife (TMs), is a primary pregnancy and childbirth care provider. Traditional birth attendants provide the majority of primary maternity care in developing countries, and may function within specific communities in developed countries. Traditional midwives usually learn their trade through apprenticeship, although some may be wholly self-taught. They are not certified or licensed’.

  38. Contd’ from 52, While your point on the risks involved may have merit because some TBAs are also herbalists, my own personal findings have been that TBAs have been using the formal training received (using rubber gloves, using boiled water etc..) to deliver healthy babies. If you look at my earlier posting, I would still stand by my gut feeling that statistics would favour the TBA in terms of child mortality, as for placenta ruptures, while those cases may be there, there are probably far less than the cases of successful delivery by TBAs.

  39. # 52 ,in the Zambian scenario what is the age range of the TBAs? .How do we define them ?, what are the pros and cons of importing such ideas ? ……It will be a sad story to read that people misled the first lady on this issue like the case of Hon Siliya….. what you have basically written is more of Medical Licentiate in Zambia , a step- gap for doctors , them at least are an ungraded clinical officers well trained ….. not TBAs , why not upgrade General nurses RN’s or ENs….

  40. Workshops are not substitutes fro formal training …… Up grade the ENs to midwives, problem solved…..

  41. #54, What I have put up are my own observations corroborated by how the term TBA has been defined elsewhere. FYI, most of these women actually have identity cards that they wear when they are on ‘duty’ in the community. Most are elderly women who have had children and have been doing this business informally for a very long time. They are not short of experience, what they may lack are the resources that allow them to undertake this activity in sterile surroundings. Mama Zambia (Thandiwe) has taken up a very good cause and has not been misled in any way because the issues that she raised a very real and applicable to Zambian society.

  42. #57 Hunk , Thanks for the web site , she has exhibited humility , and that’s what I have labored to talk ,
She has confessed she needed knowledge ….God lifts the humble to high positions …

Next coming years as a what ….. the Adventist guy ….

  43. 1984 A lot of Zambians know about the new world order, they only do not know that the foundations have been set. The churches do not teach this like the did in the eighties and the years before. Most of us that got young conciousness in the eighties were the last of an informed generation. Yes the nineties brought about information, but it was in overload quantities. We can re-educate the masses, for Zambia is ripe for harvest for the Lords rapture and beyond. Yes indeed, the Bible that is the book for me has given us all the answers always. With God we can save our nation and our people for eternity. Do not be alarmed my fellow Zambians and people at large we have a chance at salvation always. Only thing is that the road to Salvation is narrow and needs one to be mature in thought, though

  44. continued: simple most people turn to their evil nature, I have too. Therefore I repent always and as God for grace and help; so as I can work hard, seek wisdom and Knowledge and implement true Christianity, not the one that prevents me from seeking souls for Christ. Yes with Hard work and sacrifice we can move Zambia forward, for this time on earth and when we are to join Christ weather through death or the rapture. God bless you all, remember though I am a Christian I too am still a sinner that repents.

  45. # 59, Just saw it, thanks. Awe shuwa, Thandie held her own, for a first international interview out of the shadows of Bwezani, we must give her credit for her confidence. I think that with time, she will do very well.

  46. I am very knew in this position so she says ……the Adventist guy who is he ? That Thandiwe is talking about…

  47. I didn’t hear her mention an Adventist guy, but for someone who probably has not had any formal training in answering questions at that level, I thought she came out pretty good. But the position bit made me laugh too, lol!!!

  48. Maybe Mrs. Thandiwe Banda should speak on behalf of her husband. She was humble and meek. Baziba nachizungu. Ba nasamba lol. It’s five o’clock tea and kandolo time, plus Cartoons so later folks, Ta pusuka mwe I was fearing about what our other first lady was going to say.

  49. she tried her best with element of elegance , being coached by the Adventist woman …..the reporter was a bit weird to rubber this in….. the survival

Whatever that the reporter says ……

  50. Wow, 72 comments and hardly a criticism of Thandiwe – especially of her dressing? LT bloggers seem to be learning to examine deeper issues rather than getting caught up in worthless superficialities (of course, there are the odd leg-fetishes here and there, but I’m still impressed).

Our First Lady has represented us well…. she seems very decent and mature. Some of the other first ladies in that picture could learn a lot from her… the whole leg-showing and wig-wearing business sullies their credibility and simply looks like they are flaunting their husbands’ ill-gotten wealth. The first lady of Swaziland in particular. Go Thandiwe!!!

  51. # 73 Hunk Taonga, Mugone makola, Pa sabata tizakamwa Tobwa, Pa sondo ku Chalichi. 75 citizen you are right we have been humbed by how meek and calm Mrs. Thandiwe Banda was, and the Chinsa on the cameroonian first lady had everyone stunned. Good night everyone.

  52. I will be back ,let me hear the intellectual analysis all the speeches….. from the summit in a very unbiased reasoning….the young shall rule

  53. Bravo Mai Banda!

In your humility and strong African conservative values, there is intellect of visionary first lady.Keep up keep going you have our unwavering support as Zambians.God grant release on you unfamiliar favors in all your visions for needy Zambians.

  54. If I may ask a foolish question – why was this ‘summit’ held in LA and not in Africa where all these women reside?

How many bicycles for the TBA would the air tickets of the confederates been able to buy? This kind of hypocrisy does not sit well with me and the location chosen smells like a poorly disguised shopping trip. As expected, most of you are focusing on the trivial – the looks and presentation of these temporarily glorified housewives who but for some unknown reason would be selling mangoes and tomatoes at the market like the rest of us.

At the end of the day, no significant sustainable changes will be effected for the chronically poor by this and many more such gatherings – the scale of the challenge is not sufficiently appreciated to recruit a lasting solution.

  55. maybe Bwezani and the wife should switch places, coz am sure (unless am mistaken) this lady wouldn’t fire ministers the way Bwezani fired Chibombamilimo.

  56. When is this New World Order going to happen.

1984, Can you please give us a date so we can know.

  57. I for one can see great economic opportunities with this New World Order.

Imagine a company instead of producing for a population of 10 million, it is producing for a population of over 3 billion people. Those are amazing economic opportunities. Also the adding of a single global currency will surely greatly reduce on bureaucracies on trade.

The EAC will soon have its own regional currency which will increase trade and remove bureaucracies amongst Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda and spurring growth. We just have to look at the EU which has experienced tremendous amounts of growth after WW2.

So 1984, when is it happening, I need to start making preparations so I can know which city my businesses will be based. Which city will be the global financial capital??

  58. # 44 I don’t understand your theology, but i applaude Mrs Banda for this just cause. We need to give attention to the basics for us to better our lives. We need to step up to the plate a make proactive contributions to the wel being of every Zambian. besides, it’s govts obligation to make sure Zambian are provided of their basic needs. Mrs Banda, this is Zambi-can!!

  59. Wiseman-reborn you are right mudala.Thats the way to go-increase number of mid- wifery schools and improve transport services especially in rural areas. Its painful especially in the rural areas to see women die due labour complications. A mid-wife will tell if there is a problem with labour not ifyo fyabana cimbusa ba Thandi.Take this seriously .

  60. This is it , Thandiwe is beginning to blossom, this is what we want…. yes, please, continue and you will uplift our hearts too…. !!!!!
We were not talking for nothing pa L.T. we wanted you to go way forward… and this is it…
Thats the way to go Thandiwe.. Stand up and be counted…we got so scared you were going to let us down…
Big thumbs up….this is the beginning, never look back from now on….

  61. Its funny, an African First Ladies meet in L.A USA and Mrs Michelle Obama doesnt even know that they are there….Poverty !

  62. morning guys…our first lady looks sad an unconfident…….Her cause is great but honestly why is she thinking of bicycles instead of an ambulance…if a woman cant wait..she has to give birth on a bicycle or pa road side sure??

  63. The 1st lady seems to be a little away from what really needs to be done.I thot she’d fight for the betterment of rural health care by improving the already existing infrastructure, promote the provision of ambulances, training of trainers ,provision of enough equips and medication plus improving rural roads and the like?Is she gonna train village midwives to perform C-sections?Handle issues like placenta previa, abruptio placenta, ectopic pregnancies, cysts,Pregnant induced hypertention and the like?Is she gonna build mini-hospitals?Does she have anyone from the MOH to advise her professionally?Has she really oriented herself as to Y we have less or no docs in rural pamunzi areas?Does she know how long it takes for a pregnant woman to be cycled to

  64. #81.Iam with you.Optimists will see opportunities where there is danger,to the contrary,Pessimists will see dangers in opportunities. These two are poles apart.

  65. #88 I think she looks okay after watching the interview clip just below the story above. And the dressing was just decent. I think she is representing us well and she held her own in the interview and she sounds just fine with her own accent. I think people just bash her for nothing. She is alright. Listen to her speak and judge for your yourself. I think in the interview she sounded far better than Vera and held her own. Lets all be proud of her please, but I don’t like the husband as usual and for obvious reasons

  66. continued:
the nearest hospital on a bumpy road with no bridges.having any of the previously mentioned conditions, will the lady survive on BIKE?

The issue sounds so good if at all one lacks professional analysis, especially if one lacks understanding on what vile9kumushi) really means. Also how doctors really feel things should be like in rural areas. No smooth /and/or passable roads,no drugs,no equips,no magestsi,no ambulance.A doc is trained to use all of these and others to save lives but MEIYOU non of them are easily accessible.SO if one flies abroad ,he or she need not avoid getting mention of what is really on the ground that pushes mother Africa behind like stagnant water full of dangerous mosquitoes

  67. #88.I think your hate for the first lady is intrinsic.and you seem to be out of realty with rural healthy.a good number of villages are not accessible by ambulances. This shows that she is more knowledgeable in rural healthy matters than you are.

  68. The 1st Lady did brilliantly. For some reason the LT ladies who usually condemn her are quiet on this one. Come on ladies. Eat some humble pie and give credit where its due. You are always quick to criticize. How about some praise for a change? Or are you all so green with envy and jealousy?

  69. Sharp Shooter

How are you. You are right, we must see opportunities where there is danger. Whenever I see people talking about the NWO and how scared they get, I just think to myself, what is the point of fighting something that is destined to happen.

We all remember in the Bible how King Herold feared the birth of Jesus that he carried out a mass genocide against the male children in his kingdom. This is what might happen due to fear and paranoia. There is no point in fighting something that will happen. If it has to happen it has to happen. We must just think what opportunities lie in the coming events.

    That’s my logic anyway.

  70. ha! #87 Ba Dr Maureen, i was about to say the same thing. and why did this shindig have to be held in the US anyways? couldnt they find a suitable venue in one of the countries represented by the attending first ladies? Its not as if the summit has anything to do with America…

  71. Free-Market-capitalist
Iam all good. For real, there is no need fighting something that is bound to happen. Its like fighting death. Its an assurance and not insurance.

  72. #94 superman you are right, where are the ladies who bash the first lady. Our first lady is not as portrayed by these ladies. after watching that interview my perception of her has totally changed. The ladies here made her look like this compound teacher who can’t even talk or smile. I guess it is women, that is why they can’t rule the world, they like pulling each other down. As somebody said, If two women show up at a party wearing the same clothes, they will become lifetime enemies and if two men show up at a party wearing the same clothes, they become lifetime friends.

  73. Thats a very important and intelligent call our first lady made, and i salute her! By the way, she looks sweet in the pic! lol

  74. # 89 Miss daisy, Morning love! thandie touched the aspect of bicycles because most of the roads in rural areas are in impassable.e.g kalabo…

  75. Amake Temwani looks polished!! Iye! You female bloggers mwagwila nchito koma. Mamawe! And even doing a power point presentation, ka? Kwenze kanthu uku. Chizungu bwa? Amake Temwani!!! For once, am proud of you. Muleke mavalidwe ya pa Zed. Well done mama!!

  76. Oke But kalya ka chitenge suite ka pink aka ba tandi tekasuma. Tandi needs a lot of help mwebantu. she is black and good looking manje kavalidwe. ???????????????

  77. Baby C, well done! I take it Zoe did her hair. Amake Temwani is the real Africa. But you have not answered one question. Nati, Chizungu bwa, during the power point fimo fimo? It was a good idea. Made her look extremely intelligent! manje, Khani ya chizungu, ati bwanji??

  78. Ba Lt what are you doing so early, i was just paying a compliment to Thandiwe Bs LA Child Birth speech, but my comment has gone awo, please its too early.

  79. Thandiwes interview was wack, she was very nervous, stammering and was answering like a grade 5.She aint blessed with a tongue of hebrew. She says “am very new in this position am only 5 months,so I think, in the next coming years,I would be able to give a good answer to that” hahaha …Like husband like wife, always blaming time.

  80. Morning Baby C and Ba Moze…..i hear you..so we planning on bicycles because there are no roads there te..fair enuf…….

  81. Generally our African Presidents got good choice of women, big up! Lady Thandiwe is also representing dawg, powerpoint presentation and all that! And I got’s to say the Angolan First lady is soft on the eye, that’s Dona Paula! Continue representing ladies!

  82. The video of the first lady could have been better. She looks good but her vocab needs to be worked on. The angolan first lady looks good for her age and she is most likely the most loaded woman among the first ladies. The queen of swaziland is looking good too and the diva from cameroon is over the top in a good way. Generally all the ladies are representing the motherland. It is a shame Michele Obama was not there, it must be because of the wife of the republican governor of cali was in the house.

  83. Bana TB, you must be practicing everytime with your man , like they say practice makes perfect.. You will soon be the one to watch. Pipo campare you to M. obama, those are lawyers and they can sell ice cream to the Eskimos, you are not a lawyer mama, as long as you try your best , that fine by me.

  84. They went to Los Angeles to talk about Africa. mmm how nice! The next earth summit should be on Mars! The G20 summit should be in Ouagadogou or Timbuktu!

  85. Dr. Kaseba would have made a splendid presentation as she is an obstetrician and she would have written the paper herself.

  86. #126 is very right. Dr Kaseba would have done a better job of this. Why not stick to teaching issues bana TB? Any way your make over is of great surprise to me….!
