President Edgar Lungu has transferred State House Deputy Minister Mulenga Sata to Lusaka Province as Provincial Minister.
Mr Sata takes over from Obvious Mwaliteta who resigned a few days ago.
And the President has directed Mr Sata to harmonise development programs in the Province.
The President has also directed Mr Sata to ensure the removal of vendors from streets is done in an orderly manner.
The President said the program should be done without any confusion.
President Lungu’s Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda announced this in Lusaka this afternoon.
President Lungu said that Mr Sata as a former Councillor is better suited for the task.
And Mr Sata said he is set for the Challenge.

Congratulations Mulenga, I have nothing against you personaly but against your party the PF. The way I am looking at this promotion or demotion is like Edgar is indirectly saying to you; Your father allowed these vendors on the street so you the son go and get them out. I may be wrong but your president wants to surround himself with people that tell him what he wants to hear like the likes of Mumbi Phiri. I may be wrong but that is my view.
