The Advisory Board for the National House of Prayer has disclosed that the construction of the 7, 500 sitting capacity church will commence in June this year.
Briefing journalists in Lusaka today, Board Chairperson Bishop Dr. Joshua Banda says ground clearing preparations are currently being done by the fundraising team through volunteer participation of churches and other well wishers.
Bishop Banda has furthermore disclosed that the Board raised K850, 000 during a fundraising event held in January this year officiated by President Edgar Lungu.
He adds that the board has lined up several fundraising events including the hosting of a well known US Artist William McDowell who will perform on the 29th and 30th May at Government Complex and Show Grounds respectively.
Don’t steal money to build a church its a sin
God is a God of priorities. Most of people who go to Pastor Banda`s church have no access to healthcare. Why not build a “House of Healthcare”.

Instead of lobbying for improved living for zambians, or addressing fuel and mealie meal shortages, Lungu is busy fundrasing for Mega-churches! Most of that money will even go into the pockets of a few “Friends of PF”. Mr. Banda already has a big church. These people have no shame.

Bishop Banda is the devil’s advocate. He is using the word of God to amass wealth.
It is not supprizing because the bible says that in the last days men will be lovers of money than God.
Bishop Banda should just step down or else the begining to fall of Pentecostal Assemblies is on the wall. Majority of the members of the church are not happy with you draging yourself into patisan politics. HH 2016
