The ruling PF has maintained that President Edgar Lungu is ready to concede defeat if it loses in the August general elections this week.
PF Deputy spokesperson Frank Bwalya says President Lungu is a man of his word.
In an interview with QTV news Mr. Bwalya notes that this means that what he says is what he does.
Mr. Bwalya states that the ruling PF will in this case respect the will of the people and therefore no one should think President Lungu will hesitate to hand over power if he is defeated in the election.
He says his party is however confident that it will win the forthcoming general elections.
Mr. Bwalya states that the ruling PF has done its homework and has delivered development it promised to the Zambian people.
He says this is besides governing and providing leadership to the Country so well in the last 5 years it has been in power.
Um ofcourse he’ll concede defeat; those are the rules!

a. debt to the value of USD9.7billion
b. high inflation rate 21% from 6.7%
c. devaluation of the kwacha by almost 100%, destroying the livelihood of many cross-border traders
d. introduced violence to the new levels not seen before in this land

It’s true EL has already won these elections. If you are in Zambia today you will know that PF will stay in power.

President Lungu has brought sanity and integrity in Zambia and we are now a proud nation can confidently boast globally that we are Zambians because of the massive development by the PF Government.
Whilst others are behaving like Trump insulting and boasting of their wealth, President Lungu is laying a solid foundation for everyone to prosper as long as one believes in himself.
To this effect Zambians are resolved to give Lungu a resounding YES victory on 11 August.
DONT DRINK AND DRIVE
Mass development to you is equal to kaloba. Just look to Greece and then you will understand what the next term of Lungu will do to this country. Hence, Zambia has a chance to avoid that route by voting PF and Lungu out of power.
PF is very clever, they borrowed and have created an account where every month they deposit money for loan repayment in case you you did not kmnow, so don’t worry they are not under fives like HH.
If PF is that clever, why IMF is back? You are cheated by the sink fund, and then you think that is strategic thinking. Here are the demerits of the sink account or fund you are referring to:
1. It removes the much needed finances out of the economy as it is just tided up in a suspense account awaiting to be sent away
2. A sink fund is only viable if the economy or the income generation side (revenue) is functional, at growth rates of 2.7% GDP this strategy is nothing but a dream
3. In societies were transparency and accountability are not known or practiced, as a case in the PF, sink fund is a mere political pronouncement

@Nostadramus,,,,,stop misleading people.No one has been sidelined the aspiring MPs that you have mentioned such as Lubinda,Kapata,Kambwili are busy campaigning in their constituencies.It is for this same reason why we dont see Jack Mwimbu,Garry Nkombo,Cornelius Mweetwa at UPND rallies except those that are held in southern province.Kindly be reminded that this platform must not be used to propagate misinformation and half-truths.
