Now Lwandamina angers referees…..

FAZLogoFAZ has written to Zesco United Football Club complaining over Coach George Lwandamina’s conduct toward referees on the local scene.

Acting Chipolopolo coach Lwandamina was last week sent off after using abusive language against Mufulira referee Francis Lombe when Zesco thumped Power Dynamos 4-0 in Ndola.

In a letter dated 23rd August 2016,Referees Manager Katongo Kabungo said Lwandamina’s behavior toward referees was bringing the game of football into dispute.

“We wish to bring to your kind attention that the uncouth and unrestrained actions of your head coach to the referees decisions in matches involving your team are slowly bringing the game of football into disrepute,” Kabungo wrote.

“He (Lwandamina) has been caught on camera boasting about his status and that referees get peanuts and that he can pay them,” he said.

“We implore your team to advise your coach (Lwandamina) to match his behaviour with his status which he has deservedly attained,” he concluded.

Lwandamina’s intimidating behaviour against referees, players, officials, journalists and fans is well documented.

    • This has been in football domain for as long as when he was national coach. He even verbally abuse most of his hapless players. Football House has long known this but ‘insala’ knows no creed Ba Kabungo you’re a lone fighter in this match. Just pray for God’s intervention!
