    • That is what we all wish for! For now, this remains only a wish for most Zambians. DM thinks he is speaking to a kindergarten class. Deep down his heart he doesn’t even believe in what he just said; unless of course he is redefining democracy. Perhaps he should have said Zambia is an outstanding example of what can go wrong in young and promising democracy that started well. The rule is not of law but that of ruling party cadres.

    • Zambia is in trouble that now low-calibre cadres are representing govt. A failure in life like Davies Mwila is insufficiently educated to advise on democracy as he hardly understands the meaning of the word.

    • Bembas love chaos and anarchy. They are thieves and chaos-mongers. Now they are ruining Zambia like they have done with Congo.

  1. A good example of rule of law is when the leader refuse to step down and let the speaker act as leader of the country when there’s a petition over the elections.

  2. There is nothing about rule of law in Zambia when Bembas are using the state to chortle and choke other Zambians. These chaos-mongers are evil and anarchists. They are devil worshipers. No wonder Kaunda attempted to kill them off with their Lenshina. Why did he stop? He was too kind. And now these devil worshipers have risen up to torment Zambia.

    • …better the Bembas/Easterners continue ruling this country which they have made a hub of peace and freedom, the tonga donkeys/cows are so filled with hate they can perpetrate another genocide Rwanda style!!!!

  3. Please this abuse of each tribe doesnt help the issue, we are better if you highlight the economic situation in the country, the poverty and sufferring of our people, the politicization of the public service, the direction by party cadres that only pipo adhering to their manifesto will be given contract, our image or lsck of on the international stage, the preferential treatment of pf cadres when committing crimes, eg kaiser zulu at heroes stadium, still no charges
The list of issues that must be addressed instead of tribe is what has to highlighted

  4. So says the Congolese theif who is on record telling his kaponyas to steal council plots and take over public spaces.

  5. DAVIS ARE YOU SAYING THIS TO CONVINCE YOURSELF OR WHAT? TELL US IS CLOSING AN INDEPENDENT NEWSPAPER THAT REVEALED THE TRUTH DEMOCRATIC? IS LOCKING UP H.H. DEMOCRATIC? IS SHOOTING THE OPPOSITION DEAD DEMOCRATIC? DON T MOCK US ZAMBIANS BECAUSE YOU ARE ADDING SALT TO A WOUND. YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED AND WE WILL SEE IF YOU L WALK THE STREETS OF ZAMBIA FREELY WHEN YOUR TIME IS UP. WE ARE NOT ALL VENDORS AND MARKETEERS THAT YOU CONNED WITH FAKE PROMISES AND MONIES AND TELELA CHITENGES.

  6. Ama ploti ngayali 500, mwafumya po 200 and you share among yourselves as PF, the remaining 300 eyo mwatwala ku chintu bwingi. That is good governance bwana Mwila. I seriously feel ashamed that i contributed to this mess having given my 3 votes (Sata, Given & Mbalazi) to PF in 2011. Aren’t there better people within PF who can reason better? This is where we must see if there are people like Mwanawasa who can resign from government coz of the current state of bad governance.

  7. Zambia was, not is…. It once was. It no longer is. How sad. It once was a shining example of democracy in the region, indeed, in Africa. That is no longer the case. Zambia is no longer the democracy it once was.

  8. Zambia has never been and it is not a Democracy. It not committed to respect the rule of Law and Due process.

Since independence in 1964, Zambia has gone through a vicious circle of having Governments that degenerate into Regimes and Savage Democracies.
Governments serve the interests of all people in the country; Regimes serve the interests of a chosen few;Savage Democracies focus on the Personal Interests and power of an Individual. Savage Democracies are more dangerous than Regimes.
Syria and Turkey are typical cases of Savage Democracies. It is Savage Democracies of the UNIP and MMD reigns that led to their downfall. Zambia is on the verge of becoming a Savage Democracy again.
The health of Democracy in any given country is measured and determined by the evenhandedness of the…

  9. We are meeting with those countries and are asking Turkey to invest in our country. Is it investment or the opportunity to entrench authoritarian idealism in zambia. Are the chinese not only giving loans but advising african nations how to rule their countries.
Until african countries remove immunity for presidents the potential for abuse of power will continue.
Pipo ask why have ICC , if a president has immunity what can be done by his own nation, thats why international global community can have an overview. Africans leaders arent victimised by ICC the dictators are the perpetrators so they bring about their own problems.

  10. Breaking news tuesday 13th 12noon zambian tome.
Moscow, russians demonstrate against government corruption and demand putin go. Aressts by heavily armed police. Opposition leader not present but arrested at home and will spend 30 days in jail for a public meeting without a permit.
Does this ring alarms bell for zambia. Who is Mwila meeting yes Russian counterparts.
