The countdown to Zesco United’s Caf African Champions League group stage debut begins today.
Zesco’s Group A opponents this weekend Kano Pillars are due to land tomorrow morning in Lusaka who were preceded by an advance party of club officials who arrived on Monday.
Pillars left Nigeria Monday at midday en route to Zambia ahead of Saturdays match to be played at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.
The Nigerian club is expected to land in Lusaka on a Kenya Airways flight at 10:00 on Tuesday.
Zesco meanwhile shifted camp to Konkola for their big clash against fellow group stage debutants Pillars.
