Nkana demolish champions Zanaco

Nkana thumped champions Zanaco 4-0 at home in Kitwe on Sunday to move from sixth to fifth position on the FAZ Super Division table.

Striker Walter Bwalya grabbed a hattrick via headed goals and provided an assist for his colleague Jacob Ngulube in this Week 26 match played at Nkana Stadium.

Bwalya was on the score-sheet in the 18th, 45th and 58th minutes before helping Ngulube to score Nkana’s fourth goal after 71 minutes.

It was a match in which Nkana matched the score-line with their display on the pitch.

In the second half, Zanaco tried to come back into game but failed to beat keeper Kelvin Malunga.

Nkana moves to 44 points after 26 matches played, while Zanaco remain stuck on 44 points after playing 24 matches.

  1. Zanaco and zesco play badly in this 2017 season.it would be good for teams such as GBFC,Power Dynamos,Nkana or Lusaka Dynamos to win the league!!!
Referees also must not be helping these two teams (zanaco and zesco) to win games because only a team playing good football should win the league in 2017!!
Congrats to Nkana FC for a sound victory over Zanaco today!!

  2. i think even FAZ should introduce bans for referees ,they have been so unfair to certain teams especially teams from copperbelt except zesco, they favour teams like zanaco, zesco and some army teams otherwise power, nkana konkola nchanga and mufulira have been victims if the referees
