Speaking at the handover ceremony of the tractor which was bought using Ward Development Fund (WDF), Ms. Kapata who is also Lands Minister said the donation is the first step the Patriotic Front (PF) is undertaking in fulfilling its campaign promises in the Ward.
Ms.Kapata said the tractor will help prevent the outbreak of diseases like Cholera as the rainy season approaches and will create employment as residents will be paying a monthly garbage collection fee.
“Am handing over this Saro 5900 DI TAFE Tractor to Ngwerere Ward 19 in Chilulu Garden Compound for garbage collection purposes” Ms. Kapata said
Meanwhile, Ngwerere Ward 19 Councilor Adrian Banda commended Ms. Jean Kapata for securing the tractor as this will help clean the ward in terms of garbage under the Keep Garden Clean Campaign.
Banda added that the tractor will not just help in the cleaning but will also create employment for the youths in the ward.
And a resident of Ngwerere Innocent Daka expressed gratitude towards the donation.
“I commend Ms. Jean Kapata for securing the tractor as this will help clean the ward in terms of garbage under the Keep Garden Clean Campaign” Mr. Banda said
DESPERATION ………………..!!!!!!!!!!!
After baptizing Kambwili?
Where was she hiding the tractor? Continue bringing everything out!! Kambwili mwaume.
I can understand the pain and embarrassment by the PF govt. of not having been invited to officiate at the Lwiindi-Gonde ceremony in Monze last week!
Can surely launching a tractor for garbage collection in a slum make up for the shame suffered? …
In today’s Zambia, everyone is excited to know the price of the truck.
Tipima price. A reasonably priced dotcom truck should be in the region of $1m, or so we hear.
Kaya.
The headline “TRUCK” Is that tractor a truck???
These two heavy duty vehicles are NOT the same. And a tractor without a trailer or pick will be useless
This could be from the sale of the ill-gotten mukula tree. Kaili timvela ati muzimai uyu agulisa mukula.

VERY CONFUSING. HOW DOES A TRACTOR BOUGHT BY WARD DEVELOPMENT FUND (WDF) BECOME A DONATION???????????????
Please minister stop sharing land meant to be sold to other zambians with your relatives and friends.
Zambians, not zambians.

Thank you! Francis for your valid question.

If PF left the office today, where would they get the money to donate?
Please, give credit to whom credit due. Donors and taxpayer
Left office, not “left the office”.

Imagine! Am also wondering because that is not personal money. That money belongs to the people. And the imbeciles are busy clapping and praising.
That Tractor was acquired by using Public Funds, Ward Development Fund, it can not be a DONATION… The money used in procuring that Tractor was intended for that Ward…
It so shameful how these grade 3 ministers misrepresent facts…. It is not a DONATION iwe Jean Kapata…
Well done Jean Kabatisha !
Good job! Let losers eat a pie! A humble one!
It is interesting that such behavior is being exhibited by a former nurse ( care giver), mother and wife.
Charity begins at Home, Mr Kapata must be in trouble but its not surprising Jean’s face shows no emotion at all. shes like a terminator with no love.
Ba Kapata just enjoy the mukula money through chineese and zafficco and spare us the violence.
Big fanfare in handing over a tractor. What was in place before, in terms of garbage collection?
