    • When Eastern chiefs supports Mutaware’s questionable nationality, it’s not a politicking.
      When Mukuni queries Mutaware’s nationality, it becomes politicking.

      Double standards bane.

    • Maloza – If the same Chiefs remained mute, you were going to be the first one to say none of the traditional leaders have come to claim him.

    • Try threats on Luapula chiefs, bakakulowa. Chiefs have traditional protectors, kukutumina akalumba (lightening), Siwale.

    • He looks like a traditional healer. What role does he play as minister of chiefs? Should be the poorest ministry he leads.

    • Punabantu: What’s wrong with the way minister Sichalwe looks? Do you have a problem with his looks? I’m reminded of the defunct Masiye Band’s song Ziko la mulungu. Godfridah Sumaili has come in for roasting for her Brazilian hair, make-up and what-not. How petty can bloggers be? I have to declare interest here; I don’t like Brazillian hair on women but I do not say it. I respect people’s personal choices, even those I consider stupid because people have the right to do stupid things to themselves.

    • If that is the case then let them jump into the political arena, so we deal with them as politicians.

    • It’s a personal matter for ECL to clear. If any chief has to speak out it should be only one, Kalindawalo, where his father we are told hailed from. Why are so many Nsenga chiefs speaking out? Siwale and Mulongoti have raised some simple and straightforward questions which have planted doubt in many people’s minds including the minds of Chiefs Mukuni and Hamusonde. Nason Msoni has said something instructive too which cannot be ignored. That’s all there is to this issue. If ECL wants it to prolong, it will bcos Siwale and Mulungoti aren’t shutting up.

  1. Lungu and his fear to hold an opened honest press conference is to blame for dividing Zambia……what is wrong with lungu personally addressing the nation and press ??

    No one will ask him if he is a corrupt theif….he should not fear facing the press….

  2. Honestly, ba PF, what is wrong with this wonderful and law-abiding respectful message;
    “Southern Province Royal Highness Chief Mukuni who stated that President Lungu should resign if the allegation made by Mr. Mike Mulongoti that he is not Zambia are true”.
    Please ba PF try to use your heads at least for once. You should be praising Chief Mukuni for being diplomatic and thoughtful unlike Lungu or the Minister.

  3. Chiefs and Traditional Affairs Minister Lawrence Sichalwe should have respect for chiefs. The Royal Highness Chief Mukuni did not start the fire, therefore the minister should question Mr. Mulongoti who started the fire. The minister should publicly apologized to Chief Mukuni. The chief is right.

  4. Leave the chiefs alone; Lungu is to blame for keeping quiet; let him address the nation about it himself;

  5. Mr. Minister, according to you, IF what Mulongoti said is true, do you still want a foreigner to continue as President of the republic of Zambia?
