  1. Our late Golden boy Gunduzani Lottie Mwale should not be forgoten just like that.Thumbs up to WBC!!! May Lottie’s soul continue to rest in Eternal peace.

  2. zambian government should have built that without the help of any outsides,…zambians talk of being independent when there economes is dependent on donor or well wishers…zambia should have built a build in rememberance of the gallant sone of boxen in zambia mr lottie mwale.
    shame on us zambians

  3. WBC that is a sign of good gesture. My hope is that the government accepts this offer as soon as possible. The ministry of youths and sports should act in a blink of an eye.

  4. why would the WBC build a school in a country whose boxing standards are almost non-existent?? they are better off building one in Mexico by the same name honoring Lottie !! this story sounds like Lotties pension pledge story !!

  5. A great Man is gone, those who saw him lately can not appreciate the Honor,Values, simplicity and above all his Humanistic approach to human values. Our Hero is gone, fine; may the Good Lord grant him a resting place in His Palace.NB: will someone up there, from today onwards remember to start Honoring our Heros whie they are still alive and build Monuments so thst they can see how we appreciated and got inspired by their skills? We an not compare Heros from one country to another, but if we took much care of the late, he would still live much longer. Check how Pres. Mandela while alive, can appreciate people at large including the British for having aknowledge His works. Give credit 2day.

  6. Lottie was one of the greatest African Boxers. He did beat the hell out of some big names like Ba Sounkalo of Mali. Marvin Johnson was well beaten by the Great Lottie in Belgrade. Wish someone could come out of Zambia and continue the Great Lottie’s exploits in the Boxing World. Good luck Zambia!!!

  7. Lottie “Gunduzani”Mwale,my husband, best friend, father to my children, Constructing a boxing school in your honour has died a natural death.its sad.people should learn to give honour where it is due.Dead, buried and forgotten. Lottie Mwale did all he could to put Zambia on the world map but today its like this son of the soil never existed because of some few jealous and greedy individuals. The problem is they forget easily but history repeats itself.the history of Commonwealth, Africa will never be complete minus the mention of this great hero nevertheless my heart is now at peace that Memorial park inconjuction with Oriental boxing promotions honoured you in your death by exhuming your remains from old leopards hill to Memorial park.I thank God indeed it was a prayer answered.MYDSCRIEP.
