The Patriotic Front in Lusaka Province says the Church must be ashamed for keeping quiet over the insults showered on President Edgar Lungu by National Democratic Congress President Chishimba Kambwili.

PF Lusaka Province Chairperson Paul Moonga says the Church should have been in the forefront to condemn the NDC Leader instead of keeping quiet on the matter.

Speaking at the PF Secretariat where the party members from Kanyama presented a petition to the Secretary General over Mr Kambwili’s dog remarks directed at President Edgar Lungu, Mr Moonga said the Church has failed on its mandate to promote peace in the country.

And PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri who received the petition on behalf of Mr Mwila said Mr Kambwili’s bitterness should come to a stop.

She accused institutions of Governance of failing to protect the President and Zambians in General from the insults coming from the opposition political parties.

And presenting the petition on behalf of PF members from Kanyama, Constituency Chairman Chanda Chilufya said the PF will confide Mr Kambwili to his home and warned that he will be followed if he continues insulting.

Mr Chanda said Mr Kambwili’s insults have cause irreparable damage to President Edgar Lungu’s reputation both locally and internationally.

He appealed to the party Leadership to issue a directive to all party structures to protect President Edgar Lungu from insults coming from the opposition.

Meanwhile Member of the Central Committee Kebby Mbewe urged women to rise against Mr Kambwili’s insults on President Edgar Lungu.

Kanyama Constituency becomes the second to protest against Mr Kambwili’s dog remarks after Chawama Constituency in a series of protests that will take seven days.

The PF structures from all the seven constituencies will tomorrow match to the airport to show solidarity to President Lungu against insults from the opposition.

  1. And you are not ashamed pf living from the proceeds of grand corruption?
What type pf believer are you?
Hypocritical non-comp licking the leftovers from high table or just humanoid reject?

    • Keep the church out’a this fiasco.
Maybe you mean they come out when Government takes radicle action.
The action from Government is so far measured.

    • Kekekeke which pastor still support PF sinners?? Not even Sumaili, she is only there because of family issues.
When did you last see women dancing at airport?
No one has respect left for your PF, mwe mmbwa Sha Bantu imwe.

    • Why should the church come into this? When did arrogant PF bow to the authority of the church? In fact the church has stated that Zambia should not be declared a Christian state but it was ignored

    • Kolwe 1.3 bring the evidence to courts of law. If akainde and insultant cry corruption everyday without bringing evidence and you follow kwati ni cotton ikonka inyeleti. wherever the needle passes nangu nipamafi the cotton will follow. Grow up ba shetani.

    • The Church is for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ sir and not a political institution. Get your facts right.#separation of church and state.

    • Paul Moonga Hungry Desperate Bootlicker. What has the Church got to do with this? Respect is earned and Lungu has failed to earn respect. He is the MOST CORRUPT AND SELFISH ZAMBIAN PRESIDENT EVER. The Guy has taken our country backwards with Most Zambians having nothing to eat.

    • Let Lungu defend himself as he is the one that is being insulted. When Kambwili insults Lungu and Lungu remains mute it is because Lungu knows Kambwili knows a lot, just like GBM insulted him (Lungu) and nothing happened. Lungu knows the two (2) Kambwili and GBM can finish him off, it is for this reason he has pretended to ignore them, I mean what else

No Zambian has ever insulted a sitting President the way GBM did only for the President to remain mute, takwaba

  2. Kambwili will not overshadow the price of AKABUNGA. We need PF to tackle real issues not trying to deviate attention to stu.pid issues which will not put food on our table.

    • Since when has PF ever cared about putting food on anyone’s table but only their’s. PF has been taking food away and other important privileges people used to enjoy away. Every scheme designed by PF has been meant to punish everyone for failing to have hindsight.

  3. The church speaks for the voiceless, only commercial pastors like Godfridah will comment on such petty issues. The PF have the biggest voice so what does it want from the church? By keeping quiet the church has spoken, it’s up to you to interpret their message. What have you to say about the insults that PF cadres daily shower on private citizens and opposition leaders unprovoked? They even insult their late parents. The PF isn’t different to Kambwili when it comes to being vulgar. May be you feel good by insulting each other.

  4. Let politics belong to politicians and let church men belong to their church affairs.
Participation of church groups in politics brings about confusion in the country.
Let the Political entities ( courts, security agencies,NGOs) deal with political affairs.
    My personal observations.

  5. Most Zambians are Angry and Hungry becoz of PF Corruption and Misrule. They are feeling the High Cost of Living and the PF Govt has ruined their lives. They are not amused with PF chicanery to Rig the 2021 Election by stealithly and illegally Amending they Constitution to transform Zambia into a PF Dictatorship. People will resist and vote out the Corrupt PF Govt out of Power. Wait and see!

  6. Pf is really a shameless and party dragging zambia backwards without remorse. Who can speak for such people unless bought? Many of us have been quite for quite sometime only working for the good but country keeps sliding backwards at an alarming rate. The economy is under free fall under a visionless and corrupt charlatan.

  7. Shut de hell up! Did you blame the church for keeping quiet over the 48 houses? Did you blame the church for keeping quiet about the over priced firetrucks? Did you blame the church for keeping quiet about the corruption issues we have in this country? Follow the order, blame the church for keeping quiet about all those mentioned stuff then talk about the insults. Coz these insults stuff just happened now now

  8. you don’t seem to know what u are doing Mr secretary. the church is wise enough to know when to intervene and what to involve itself in. u are such an embarrassment find something worthwhile to do if this is your avarage.

  9. The Church today is a sleeping giant too sleep no wonder witch doctors have infiltrated the church.wake up you sleeping giant and let your voice be heard.

  10. If the Church responded to every tosh and insult from both PF and opposition, they would have no time to preach the word of God.
I mean both PF and UPND and D.NDC and their leaders leave much to be desired,, my Zambia what kind of satanic curse is this? Because we voted for Sata?

  11. what

Why should UPND defend the current constitution to remain status quo and refer to its provisions when they refused to be part of its amendments and even boycotted the signing ceremony at Heroes stadium? Remember that the lacunas came about because UPND and its surrogate NGOS including TIZ and NGOCC campaigned against cleaning up the text not even a full stop or coma.
UPND later campaigned against the Bill of Rights. What kind of agenda is this? Its unfortunate that we are calling this comedy as ‘checks and balances!!!, my foot. Democracy has indeed failed in Africa where derogatory language and hate speech against a sitting head of state is considered as a symbol of courage and popularity by some church leaders and their opposition friends . Ntewewe you are spot on…

  12. This Paul Moonga is one of the empty tin in Tonga land. Honestry u don’t know that Kambwili did not mention any name of the dog. My dogs have names so that I can identify it. Now when so someone say this dogs from chawama he did not mention any human being. My President as a name. So anyone saying that Kambwili was calling the president then u are the one calling My President that. If I say monkies from luapula have I called anyone a monkey. Are u telling the people that they are no dogs in chawama. Please stop bringing the name of the Church in this foolish talks of politics. Mukaishamika Ba Paul Moonga.

  13. If the useless president does not respect himself and neither leads the country well people get angry and will resort to insults and other things. In fact that bill 10 should have had clauses to impeach the president when he or she fails in sworn duties. Instead bill 10 has clauses to protect and legalize theft of public resources. The bill 10 adds more power to a president by taking it further away from the people and key institutions thereby rendering the country undemocratic. Let the church remain quiet since you never wanted them to preside over reconciliation.

  14. Every time I see an article or headline in which Sunday Chanda, Andrew Ntewewe, etc. feature prominently as authors or commentators, I can predict with nearly 100 percent accuracy what monotonous, intellectually bankrupt, and humdrum reaction from the likes of Nostradamus, Jay Jay, Wanzelu, NEEZ, Thorn in the Flesh, etc. will be. It’s gotten to a point where I just skip any write-ups from the aforementioned every time they comment on any issue. Only a few lone and redeeming, and refreshing voices of Nine Chale, Yambayamba, etc. give some of us some welcome relief.

  16. iiiiddddoooottttssss, will always call upon the same people they insult to help them fight stupid battles. In fact the majority Zambians agree with CK.

  17. I haven been away from home for some time but the way i see Zambia is in wrong hands all the institution are full of people who are ready to steal at any cost even Banks have now joined i recently transferred money to fnb Zambia to my sister’s account after 5 days the money was not there i waited 10 days nothing.
One month nothing they kept on saying there is no money after three months they reversed the money with no reason and took K4000 from K20 000 this kind of stealing everybody is so comfortable with stealing one of my friend is also crying the same thing fnb is holding his my he transferred for the father what’s really happening there. And when you call the support there are totally not aware what’s going on they will say we get back to you and they will never and that phone…

  18. Not the church, but some churches should be ashamed not of the silence vis-a-vis Chishimba Kambwili’s insults, but for playing vuvuzela to for PF in the face of public resource mismanagement as per the AG’s report and corruption as per the FIC report. True, Chishimba is a despicable thug devoid of morals. However, the quarrel between him and the President is personal. ECL is personification of the Republic of Zambia, it follows that any insults thrown at him are injury to Zambia. What baffles the mind is why upto now the law has not been visited on Chishimba Kambwili, who, with impunity, has desecrated the person of the president? Could it be that the Zambian psyche share in Chishimba’s frustration with the PF or the president is of the opinion that he deserves those insults? It is…
