Share

Kalusha Bwalya’ has appointed two new committee members to his embattled executive committee at the on-going emergency council meeting in Kabwe today.

The two are Miles Sampa, a director at Finance Bank, of Matero United and James Mpooma of Flying Eagles.

Sampa and Mpooma were ratified together with Elijah “Shenko” Chileshe from Mining Rangers as part two of the Faz emergency council saga is being played out in Kabwe 24 hours after Fridays session was held in Lusaka by the petitioners.

Meanwhile, interim Faz president Andrew Kamanga Kamanga also by his rivals in the Kalusha camp that his interim regime was illegal.

Kamanga said at a press briefing in Lusaka today that his interim executive was drawing its mandate to legally govern the game in Zambia from the
November 26 ECM at InterContinental Hotel.

“We had the meeting, we formed the quorum and decisions were made from there,” Kamanga told the press briefing. “So if there is anybody who is considered to be operating illegally it is definitely not us.”

  1. Simata is a well known bafoon from his Finance Bank days, he victimized a lot of innocent Bank Staff literally destroying professionalism in Finance Bank, when Senior Mnangement finally discovered his lies, they fired him.

  2. # 4 insults won’t take you anywhere. You are the same guys who supported third term when Lusaka pipo said no.. Backwards Copperbelt living in the past!!!

  3. Let us wait and see but we do not need to be intelligent to know who FIFA is supporting. The one whose meeting they have graced with their presence. The interim might be correct but they way they conducted their business leaves much to be desired.

  4. According to the register called out at the beginning of the meeting which is being held at Zambezi source Hotel, 150 delegates have attended the ECM against 123 who attended the one in Lusaka yesterday.
However some clubs had representations at both meetings.

  5. In this case the ones to suffer are players & those who support or like Zambian foolball not galu or samata as for me not worried. Let fools support galu just like they support Satan coz a fool will not differentiate between bad & good. We saw it pipo supporting third term which was against constitution so is how they are supporting galu even when they know deep down that he is worry!! Continue supporting your fellow fool you *****s.

  6. So where is the new Kamanga Committee operating from? On cell phones or they have a new Football House? Are they operating from Simataa’s house? Thank you God I lost interest in Zambia soccer after the death of real soccer players, the legendaries Godfrey Chitalu and Alex Chola on that fateful day.

  7. 11 your comment can also be paraphrased as there must be a lot of money at FAZ for people to fight tooth and nail to topple the existing and recognised FAZ.

  8. Kalu must simply step aside if he is to retain some dignity. The man can’t see things are simply sliding down under him, and its a shame considering what he has done for the sport! The hour has come, man!

  9. At first I thought this was just a football matter which will settle down until Satan linked Kalusha to FJT, and yesterday Kazabu of PF fame chaired the rebel meeting. Then I realised that it was part of a grand but desperate strategy to gain influence in all public (and private) institutions in a bid to enter Plot 1.
Guys guard against infiltration and shame these power hungry no gooders.

  10. news in is that a FIFA representative has just given a vote of thanks at the end of the kalu led FAZ and has affirmed FIFA’s support . i guess we now know which direction zambian football is taking

  11. They did well to hold seperate meetings so that we know who is who, we were being told no one likes kalusha in zambia. we were saying speak only for yourself but pipo were in hurry to go to football house. In life not all should like you, just like you shud not think pipo you hate are hated by everyone Your achievements no one will take away.

  12. # 15 Chama Chakomboka, I am sure you be voted the “lowest thinker” of the year 2010. You can’t even be able to find the difference between Kalu and Simataa? It is the same as not be able to differentiate between the 2 tupunda twamwanakashi. For you both are same, and you have no problem with it.

  13. Why is The Post not reporting? They are disappointed that Kalu managed to gather more people than their fellow loser Simataa. SHUT DOWN The Post for fakesaki!

  14. The moment that the loudest mouth in the land made a comment on FAZ affairs, that was the death nail for the interim committee before it was even born. Not surprisingly, that loud mouth speaks on any topic the majority of which he barely understands. FIFA does not tolerate political influence in soccer, and political does not mean governments alone, it includes ALL politicians and especially those who do not even have the mandate of the Zambian people to run the affairs of this nation. It must surprise FIFA to encounter non-govenment political interference in FAZ, that those in power are quiet. That is Zambia for you, FIFA, we have our share of a few loud mouths with empty skulls.

  15. Well, all FAZ interim need to do, is come Monday, pick up their constitution, together with their list of registered attendees at their meeting, proceed to High Court, Obtain an injunction & an order obligating who ever is in possession of Football house keys to hand them over within 24hr, restrain them from removing any documentation & property & all in possession of said property to return it to Football house within the said 24hrs – simple & no sweat & no drama!! – ala ifi fintu fyali lembwa mu constitution, noti uku la bosabosa fye!!!

  16. Kalu shoudl just go. He is surely an embarrasment to zambian football. The man has no shame. These. CB chaps they nver get civilised.

  17. What wrong has Great Kalu commited? All the people are calling for his head but there are no concrete and proven accusations that can call for his resignation. A real man’s worthy is seen in how he handles a crisis. Kalu is the man!

  18. Kalusha has a poor cv. Much as we appreciate his achievements in soccer he has no intellectual power to be FAZ boss. Everyone can play soccer but management requires a good thinker not of Kalusha class. He has to step down immediately.

  19. You are a poor adiminstrator if your organise a high profile friendly match with a strong Ghana team only to end up capping zambian students. this is low they have manged to sink us, the Galu executive. Our teams are still the most poorly equiped, poorly dressed, no replica jessys, U20 teams underperforming, coach selections questionable, player deals controversial, match officiating always scandalous, FAZ president based in SA, Coach in Italy. what moer do people want for Great Galu kanshi?

  20. #30 that is not how the law works. No sane judge would grant such an injunction, otherwise nothing would function in the world. You know how power hungry some people are, they would have used this option a long time ago. If it were that simple we would have injunctions against RB, the Post, ZNBC, DEC, Zambia Police, Chief Executives, Chinese investors, UTH, Telesphore, Catholic Church, Sata, Kambwili, TIZ, even our wives and husbands, well just about everybody and everything that has annoyed us.

  21. As usual the people who claim to be “on the ground” wanted us to believe that Kalusha’s meeting would have no support but just look at the numbers that attended his meeting wow! Just swallow your pride, there is no other FAZ Executive Committee apart from Kalusha’s. Learn to be patient and start preparing for 2012 if you want to be in FAZ. We know that life expectancy in Zambia is short and some of us think we may not reach 2012, but sorry national affairs are not conducted in that manner.

  22. Thank you guys for your support. Please, continue pretending that you don’t know that most delegates at the Kabwe ECM were fake.We had Faz employees and anyone claiming to represent any team, whether an official or not.We will never mention names but the clubs represented.I will do everything possible to remain in power at whatever cost, otherwise what will i be doing to earn a living if i leave FAZ?

  23. I’m beginning to believe that the the people who meet to elect an interim FAZ executive did not have a strong base to remove the Kalusha Bwalya led executive. I was waiting to hear specific cases to brought out against Kalusha Bwalya so that some of us who didn’t fully understand this issue can be can also know what has been happening in the dark, but what do see from their meeting? Electing an interim committee without giving us any explanation as to why the other committee is being dissolved. Could it be true that the whole thing is just birthed out the personal differences that Samata has with Kalu?

  24. CS(#38) the way I understand this fracas is that when the four executive members resigned, the FAZ executive automatically dissolved itsself and secretariat needed to immediately call for an ECM. Since the secretriat was reluctant to do so the petitioners took it upon themselves and gave notice for one(26th). Realising that the petitioners had the right to do so FAZ convened one on 27th deliberately countering the petitioners’ meeting to ensure thay had control over the deliberations as well as the attendance. That they succeeded to do but the question remains on which ECM was legitimate? For me it was not about campaign or performance but simply a question of status of the Executive?.

  25. VIVA Kalu executive. These Kamanga chaps are already regretting their ill thought out move. They misled themselves into thinking they had the support of the majority Zambians. Nomba yaluka.. And they only had 5 Premier league teams in heir ranks on Friday against 11 who were in Kabwe yesterday. The GS job is a full time one so kanshi ba Simatta was simply job hunting. Cant one of these new banks surely employ this retard? Or is his bank CV so dented…

  26. Abena Dongosima @27 If The Post hates u they will never carry a posIitive stori about u. That’s how they v operated from the beginning. When Mmembe who was an MMD cadre was not inkluded in Chiluba,s plans a hate for Chiluba drov the Post’s coverage of the shortman. It is vendetta journalism and Zambians shud not support it Look at all the Post’s enemies and how it covers them. That isn,t journalism but politics

  27. The HQ for kamanga’s FAZ2 is in kamanga compound hehehe, there’re cops guarding football house, no illegal entrants! I encourage all you Zambians that follow these things blindly to begin investigating some of these individuals like simaata, then you will soon discover that someone has been causing similar confusion wherever he is..

  28. cawama great kalu is back in the driving seat.

there was no crisis in Faz after all. Insoni kuli ba pivoty simwanza. Even in 2012 Kalu were shame you

  29. # 39 you are right somehow except that you missed one point. the ECM should have been convened to to fill in the vacancy position.

remember when our beloved president passed away, we went to the polls to fill in his position, we did not go for general elections to elect Mps etc

  30. Kalusha TKO’s the Zambian embarrasment Simata & Co!!!
Well done……thats the way it needs to stay until 2012…….why do these wanna-bes wanna come in through the back door and not through the proper channels. With the help of THE PST (the garbage newspaper and the NSC….these guys have managed to cause ‘much ado about nothing’!! They could have at least read the statues to familiarise themsleves before causing this big kafwafwa!! *****s

  31. Galu is indeed stubborn there is no way you can run football as if you are on the pitch it is totally different. He also lacks morals regarding leadership, let him swallow his pride,he has failed to meet the affiliates’ needs.Galu please step down you have failed….
