Lucky Msiska should advise his travel agent to make a preliminary booking for the Zambia under-23 team to either North or West Africa for his sides’ forthcoming 2012 Olympic Games second round pre-group stage qualifier in June.
The pre-group stage round draws will be made on Wednesday morning in Cairo.
Zambia, ranked 22nd by Caf, face the prospect ofplaying teams from that region, according to the draw criteria announced by Caf as the first round qualifying match winded-down on Sunday.
However, a Southern Africa derby against 9th ranked South Africa is also a possibility.
Msiska’s side is in Pot B for the draws together with Senegal,Benin, Mali, Sudan, Congo Brazzaville, Tanzania, DR Congo.
Those sides will be paired against Pot A teams Egypt, Nigeria, Tunisia, South Africa, Algeria, Gabon, Morocco, or April 20 winner between Cote d’Ivoire/Liberia.
The draw procedure took into account the 17 nations rankings on the Fifa/Coca Cola charts of March.
