Kabwe Warriors Face Big Test At Sunset

Kabwe Warriors two-match winning streak will be tested on Saturday in their big Midlands derby when they travel to Sunset Stadium in Lusaka to face Zanaco.

The Warriors match-up against Zanaco has over the years risen as the second Midlands derby on the profile after Green Buffaloes with the demise in stature of City of Lusaka.

Warriors new coach Dick Ngwenya and his assistant Happy Sichikolo have collected six points from their two games in charge with an avenged 1-0 over Zesco United and went better against Forest Rangers whom they beat 2-1 away.

This weekend they face a Zanaco side that beat them 2-0 at Railway Grounds in Week 3 on April 16 in Kabwe.

Zanaco on the other hand are looking to restore some respect at home after they were humiliated away by the same score line last Saturday by Zesco.

Zanaco will also provide an interesting measure of Warriors real caliber despite their loss away last weekend at Zesco.

Their vibrant attacking twosome of Moses Phiri who scored in the first leg and Fabrice Kanda including talented midfielder Boyd Mwangela will surely test Warriors limits.

Meanwhile, Warriors are still waiting for striker Nicholas Zulu who is on loan from Zesco to deliver while Zanaco should be on the lookout for the explosive Derrick Mulenga, the visitors recent signing from City.
