RUGBY: Arrows Ready For 10th Straight Title Defence

Red Arrows coach Mwamba Chishimba has declared the National Rugby League champions ready for the 2023 season.

After predicting a tough season, Chishimba said Arrows are confident of defending the league title.

“We are ready for 2023 season. I know it won’t be easy but we have what it takes to defend the league,” he said.

The multiple league title winning coach added that the recent tour of South Africa has helped the Air Men to prepare well for the new season.

Chishimba has told Radio Icengelo Sports that Arrows have gained exposure from the Tour of Pretoria where the team won two friendly matches and lost one.

“It was a very good exposure for the team. We have picked up a lot of lessons from this trip and we will not be the same. We have improved a lot. We have new blood in the team,” he said.

Arrows are this year aiming to win a record tenth straight league title.
