Patriotic Front (PF) mobilization committee member Susan Sikaneta says the party is confident that President Michael Sata will be able to change the corrupt governance system within 90 days.
Ms. Sikaneta told QFM that President Sata is a good leader who has shown commitment to developing the country and uplifting the living standards of its citizen.
She notes that President Sata has a track record of being a hard worker from the time he served as cabinet minister in the Chiluba regime.
Ms. Sikaneta has since appealed to the Zambians to give the new government time to address the issues affecting them.

I agree with Ms. Sikaneta. A lot of people still underrate him but I’m sure he will surprise them with action and not words. Only 2 weeks in office and he has already started cleaning up State House, RDA, ACC and other institutions of governance.

Its good that we have a leader who is not corrupt, but the whole issue lies on us. we need to change our mindset because the President can’t be everywhere.
Zambians as whole need to change their mindsets. We  became so corrupt that one had to even bribe people working in the mortuary to get some service. Qualified Accountants,Engineers, Lawyers etc have become so compromised. Its all about making money as individuals. Surely one can always make make through decent means. So at the moment the biggest challenge will be our adjust our minds as Zambians. YOU CAN NOT DEVELOP OR MAKE MONEY WITHOUT WORKING HARD.

He is making it seem as if only Bembas can run this country and it will cause social problems very very soon. our country has been labelled as one of the most corrupt nations. this is a simple matter that we can eradicate.if we look at our government institutions they are an embarassment..workers in these institutions can not follow protocol and procedure that is supposed to ensure the smooth running of these institutions because of nichekeleko..we need people that are ready to work for the benefit of the nation and are educated in these areas..top management of these institutions should lead by example by stumping authority and power on employees that violate rules and procedure by  acting in the right manner and avoiding shortcuts and complicated procedures in your line of work…think about others

I thought he would unite the nation by being fair to all tribes! This is absurd and we wont forget this in the next elections! Relatives are the worst people to trust even on your farm or business. We won’t give Sata more time to develop the nation. He himself promised to develop the country in 90 days and put more money in our pockets. He was either lying or he was telling the truth. As for the woman in the story, it is hard to believe that the corrupt are now trying to show us that they’re clean. Corruption should be fought though.
