AFCON 2012 Stars Beat Barca Legends

The Chipolopolo class of 2012 have thumped the Barcelona Legends 3-0 in an exhibition match played at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

Collins Mbesuma, James Chamanga and Clifford Mulenga scored the goals on Africa Freedom Day.

He huge crowd turned up at Heroes Stadium to watch the Barca legends led by ex-Brazil star Ronaldinho.

Zambia’s 2012 Africa Cup stars dominated the squad with iconic Kalusha Bwalya making a second half appearance.

Meanwhile, the Barca Legends are expected to tour some parts of the country on Friday before leaving the country.

  1. And why did we not see Kamanga at Heroes Stadium during the Barca Vs Chipolopolo Legends match,we want a report!

    • I’ve seen it on Youtube. Looks like it was a fantastic event. Elvis Nkandu and Gary Nkombo were present. Failure Kamanga ducked.

    Mwaona lomba chi Achieve-Nothing Kamanga just wanted to prick a hole in a feel good event to celebrate our heroes. Just because he cant organise such a thing. He cant organise football in Zambia. Zambia once feared by all our neighbours all West Africans All North Africans. Now plays Chimpombwa football.
