Counting of votes in underway in the Msanzala by elections with the Patriotic Front’s candidate Joseph Lungu taking an early lead.
Msanzala has 43 polling stations and 10 polling stations have been counted.
QFM’s Namasiku Njovu reports that out of the 3048 votes, Patriotic fronts Joseph Lungu has polled 1,721 votes, trailing behind him is MMD’s Peter Daka with 1,220 votes.
And independent Usaman Maumba has polled 27 votes with UNIP’s Shaderick Banda scoring 20 votes.

This information is now outdated.Plse update because according TV2 news at 06hours ,only 5 polling stations were remaining with Joseph leading by more than 6000 votes trailed by Daka with around 3000 votes

MMD and her concubine UPND are in trouble. Zambians are becoming enlightened, you don’t expect people to go back to MMD so soon when we are still chasing RB’s son for stealing.
“Pre-known” election results, yawn…… I suggest that we forget democracy and try dictocracy for the next 4 years to 2016 by asking MMD and UPND to volunteer to give PF all their seats and make someone happy for a change…….certainly one mmembe would be very happy too.
Even if its democracy what is UNIP doing in this election. These people (UNIP) are time worsters. As a nation we burnt UNIP like a piece of wood and burried its ashes. Therefore, its forgotten. Next will be MMD.
Hardluck for Peter Daka, but you really deserve to loose. Your chance is over, let others enjoy. I think that is the end of your political carrer. You were a useless Minister of Science and Technology all you did was to grab the NISIR plot with a bore free of charge. Shame on you. It must be reversed. Daka you concentrated on fattening yourself and abaondoned the people who put you in power.
