A president with black teeth….awe sure. No wonder smile ima jomba and wont come out.
Of all things that’s what you have seen. Ndiwe wandewo iwe ayi……………….lol.
Pwahahahahahahahahahahaahahahhahah!!!
nice pictures LT. Walasa
GK RIP
Wonderful picture though during a solemn occassion!!
Point of correction baTumfweko. In pic #19 its not the palms of the cardinal but the ring that my catholic president is kissing.
The pictures displayed are the exact opposite of what was reported to have happened at the service. The unity exhibited here is WONDERFUL.
The pictures show a great maturity in Zambian politics.
Where was HH?
Good pictures.Keep it upLT
Imwe, this is a social event. I didnt see any mourning here. Vera is showing off her new face and facing off with Maureen etc.
Very pleasent pictures to see.Thank u Ba President, You are Great. One zambia, One Nation.
Good pictures LT. Now we need to see more and not just the funeral ones. Thanks.
lol…whats with Maureens’ Fanta face and Cocacola hands’????????????????? I DESPISE THOSE THAT USE WHITENING CREAMS,! PEOPLE LET US BE PROUD OF OUR BLACK RACE… SHAme you mekako stinking women!
the cocacola hands is due to the shadow/light – has nothing to do with creams – check the colored Lubinda also with cocacola hands
@Fresh Breeze, don’t denounce Mourine before you critically examine all the pics above. For example, look at the Given Lubinda on that same pic with Mourine Mwanawasa, he looks the same too, i.e. light on the face and a little bit dark goring downwards. That could have been the fault of the camera or photographer.
Lovely pictures and true reflection of what some other web sites are reporting…..KEEP IT UP LT.
Pic #6,
I am seeing the president’s smile for the first time ever but seems to avoid eye contact as seen on pics # 7 & 10. Elsewhere it is reported that the president when greeting the dignitaries in the church told ‘Dr’ Nevers Mumba that he won’t greet him but pic #7 tells a different story altogether.
I don’t like the involvement of little kids at funeral. Its a shame for the church to use such a little boy to be leading the coffin. He could have been used for a childrens party and the like.
That’s exactly what I was thinking Mary… the boy shouldn’t be anywhere near that coffin. It’s not fun at all.
It is a taboo. When I was little, mom used to lock us in the house when the burial processions was going by our house.
That was then dear when death was not this common but today its actually encouraged by psychologists.
I doubt if the photo for tankers ferryng fuel is true.i espected this photo to be like for yestday but this is a rain season photo when there was water in the drainages.ba LT ?
nice photos one Zambia one nation::)))))
@8 HH was present but has been left out in the usual way of making him less visible to the masses. The boy is a serious threat to PF.
These photos are so nice and just show the Unity that we need as a Country. This is contrally to what was reported in some media sectors shame to those who reported the opposit way.!!!:)
PIC 3 AND 4, KK and Sata walking together only to greet themselves on pic 5..strange to me..
TEFINTU FYA TUMPA
Spot on, that crossed my mind too ;)
That’s not a little kid. Thats an adult with retarded growth.
#23 Bounty,
The caption says ‘Child’.
Am I the only one who saw the line above saying ‘Courtesy State House Press Unit’? Looks like LT is now run from state house. Very shamefull
yes Muma its like LT in now a mouth piece of state house ,news always some with times of zambia. And state house released these pictures of damage control purposes.
THE BEST PICTURES EVER PUBLISHED BY LT. THE UNITY DISPLAYED BY ZAMBIANS HERE IS REMACABLE. THIS IS WHAT WE WANT IN OUR GREAT COUNTRY, ZAMBIA. I LOVE PICTURES #20 AND 21 FOR THE GREEN AMBIENCY.
President Sata pali ” Chivungo, check picture number 3, BY is complaining to Lubinda that why did you take away landless corner project from me in pic 12 , whilst picture 14 Lubinda is telling VERA to join the boat.
koma nchendi, chivungo chopeneme lomba akankhala pansi…….
Pic 7, Just seen Sata greeting Mumba and yet in the Post Newspaper their head story says he sata refused to shake hand with Mumba and promised that he is going to sort the fellow out, whats the truth then ba post, tell the nation the truth, please.
Beefy party cadres. Elderly party ‘youths’. What makes these people necessary in our democracy?
Picture #3 KK & Sata looks good…I love KK’s safari suot as well Mr Sata’s … thats what is called “well dressed leaders” …bravo….
Let us have more high profile state funerals so that our leaders can see the folly of insulting each other and the benefits of working as brothers and sister for a common good of this great country
#28 – checking out Ntwenu yaba President sure! Awe, that’s wrong. Observe something else in the picture, like the hand kissing …for example
It is not hand kissing. But the Cardinal Ring that Catholics Kiss.
where are the mourners ?
I like those pics shows that zambia is growing up thank God to see KK on the team unity is greatness
Why doesn’t Sata look people in the eye when he is shaking hands with them? It looks wierd and dead rude!
Of all the things, and that’s your complaint?!
LT if these photos are courtesy State House Press Unit…why have you watermarked them Lusaka Times?
HH was scared.
Ha the last picture, that woman is really Fat
Just large not fat
President posing for the pictures?
HH needs to be conspicuous like the rest of the gang if he is to be taken seriously.Does he have a publicity person? Be seen,be heard smile strategy etc will help him to get recognised.
Mmmm, ba #26 imwe ba @back becher, So in your mind State house just made up these pics, right?
If your favorite blog/s (e.g. ZWD, The Post on Line, etc) chose not to take their own pics, or selectively posted pics they thought would support whatever their political/social agenda is, who is to blame for that? State house or LT? In fact even ZWD usually simply borrows/hijacks pics from other media outlets. Rarely do they post original work! And you want to have a feat when LT does the same?
They say “a picture is worth a thousand words,” so whatever you heard/read about what went on at the funeral of former VP, G.K, these pics tells slightly different story. And that’s what makes mad—my goodness! The pics simply gives a different perspective from what you heard, that’s so!!
Pic 16 is that Benard Tembo in ZAF uniform former Matero Boys Sec Sch?
Photo 21:
Mwecilya mweka dade. Lomba mupompoloke na njala.
pic 4 is that Dr.Mutati the ophthalmologist on the far right…..is she Felix Mutati’s wife? wow haven’t seen her in a long time. She was nice woman classy lady.Wonder if she is still at UTH
Awe chalila mwe, what more at funeral home, am sure there was beer chezela.
If these pictures are real then we are heading somewhere as a Nation,so SATA greeted Nevers?anyway thumbs up these pictures explain big things keep it up.
KK looks great.A well lived life tempered by courage, patience, integrity and humor. We should all try to live our life set by his example. A lot of us are blinded by fear, greed, pride, guilt, shame ,to live our life in that manner.greed may ensure that you are never poor but it also makes sure you are never wealthy as well. Everybody??
MAUREEN HAS A NICE LADY’S FACE AND TOUGH GUY’S HANDS.
# 36 You read my mind… Why dosent this Guy look people in the eye when shaking hands…..I mean its just plain rude and very disrespectful to others. Kwati taubakwatile inshita olo kwati ni bakabwa elo ilinso nalyo kwati lya ngwena. Does he behave the same with his wife??? Somebody anjebeko
In my opinion these people were not posing for photos hence when one is speaking to several people he wont realise that the photo is being taken. It happens in less than a second so one can be taken when he is just turning. The respect that this man has cant I think make him to do that
A country that has electricity issues somehow has enough oil to donate to another country. Does Sata care about Zambia.
President Sata kinda looks a bit scared looking at the coffin in pic 17; I would freak out too – that’s why I’m surprised these people put that kid near that thing, like it’s candy.
Kinda agree he should be looking into the eyes of people he is greeting. But again this is a Zambian thing and he’s only Zambian.
These Catholics they think they are shining ? YOU DON’T ABUSE A CHILD FOR A FUNERAL NO MATTER THE TALENT.
Sata did shake Nevers Mumba’s hand though he didn’t look at him in the eye according to the picture, could be that something attracted his attention but I think he did say something nice, usual protocol. However, in the Post some “nicopoomp” had us believed that Michael Sata planned to sort out Nevers at the Cathedral ? Photos don’t lie unless these were tailored by some “shushushu”! Ubufi ba nevers! Nensoni tamwakwata!
@Kwa george, I do not see aythig wrong with having the child in the choir, am sure even in your church, children with extraordinary music talents are used in worship.
Was the Fuel donated by Sata or Zambia, can someone explain. If its Sata i say well done, you have a good heart but if its Zambia lets report correctly.
The lack of accountability continues. The source of the funding of the fuel donation must be disclosed. If it’s taxpayer money used it cannot be at the president’s discretion.
Picture no. 3 Ukwa has a big item, very attractive.is he wearing a boxer short or nothing at all.
lol!! the items are still swollen from the sutures that were put on him in india
A president with black teeth….awe sure. No wonder smile ima jomba and wont come out.
