  1. Pic 4-8…i bet that is a sign that Ubwalwa bwena is still hot business pa Zed.No wonder more money in the pocket ifililwe ukubomba.I see where most of the mula goes to.

  2. Zambia breweries thats development more production more beer more money plenty of employment opportunities, keep moving that heavy equipment

  3. Central province permanent secretary was again? Now they give them that woman, anyway she looks very tombeble.

  4. pix 4 – 8 TWANWA AHAIN! DEVELOPMENT SEEMS TO BE COMING TO ZAMBIA. MORE JOBS, MORE MONEY IN PEOPLES’ POCKETS AND MORE GOOD LIVING.

  5. PIX#23. WHILE ASSAULTING AN EMPLOYEE IS AN OFFENSE LATE PAYMENT OF WORKERS IS A SERIOUS MANAGEMENT GROSS NEGLIGENCE. PA ZAMBIA PAYROLLS ARE DELAYED JUST FOR EMPLOYEES TO FEEL THAT THE PAYROLL CHAP IS VERY IMPORTANT. PAYROLL CHAPS ARE SADISTS.

  6. Pictures 4, 5 and 6 are a good example of why we need to improve Zambia’s rail infrastructure and utilize it to move such heavy goods so as to reduce the damage to our roads.

  7. PIX17 – 19. I AM PRETTY SURE THE TRACKS TYRE WAS AS SMOOTH AS A SNAKE. ROAD SAFETY AND VEHICLE MAINTENANCE IS IS A SECOND THOUGHT IN ZAMBIA. PROFITS COME FIRST.

  8. I would never kneel down against anyone let alone the president, this is being brainwashed

Africans still believe in witchcraft, witch-doctors, traditional chiefs etc when we all know that maligning one to such vices is backwards and dull

This was painful to look at for me LT, a joke of a country with its traditionals

    Thanks

    • Mushota! Come now, have you not seen the herbal medicine aisles in drug stores in the West? Those things are unregulated and have who knows what in there, but they sell well. Motivational speakers and psychics alike are popular with different people in America, but what do they actually do that’s different than witchdoctors?

Thanks for keeping it spicy my dear!

  9. Iam Still waiting for the Pictures of Mama Betty Kaunda’s funeral  processions!!! What is the problem Ba Lusaka Times Kanshi!! have we misplaced our priorities!!!

  10. Did you see the Bemba chief wearing pata patas in pic 27?Akangidwa nakudzionetsa ulemu afumu achiWemba!

    • Iwe he was home relaxing and it is a weekend for that matter. What is better than a pata pata on a day like this ? Did you expect him to be putting on a suit ?

    • How can he be relaxing when he is receiving guests in line to his position of authority? Just accept it that he looks as poor as any of his villagers and might help to explain why you Bembas have a propensity to steal.

    • Iwe Chishimba Khaso I thought we were discussing something sensible here.Where is that tribel rant coming from ? You are pathetic my friend. You are just waste of sperm.Grow up and debate maturely.I blame the one who taught you how to type.Smh

    • Why your reaction – are you ashamed of your ka chief looking like a kaponya? Very funny you Ukwa insults other people’s chiefs when he cant even drop some of the ngwees he has been stealing with his bunch of fools so that even ka chief kanu kaonekeko bwino. Muleteka but you chiefs look like peasants! As for me typing, it is not your mother’s stolen money that paid for my typing lessons or my computer.

    • Ulibe nzelu iwe mudala. No wonder i always encourage people to go to school. If only you went to the right schools and had a proper upbringing you wouldn`t have been in this position where you spill nothing but hate for people who have had nothing to do with your awkward perception of the world around you.Grow up sir.I guess your father and mother can shed a lot of tears after seeing the material they brought in this world in the name of having a child. It breaks my heart when i meet your type.Zambia is the only country we have and its people like you that will bring future conflicts because of the hate in your heart.Did a bemba shag your wife ? I once again repeat..grow up :(

    • Anyway i give up on you i think your hate for bembas has more to it than what meets the eye.Gat a social outing to go to.Have a good and blessed weekend

  11. Zambia breweries expansion = more car accidents,more AIDS,more utuswende,more broken homes,more street kids,more amahule,more liver diseases,more death etc.

  12. Eish, pics 4-7 we’re a poor nation with a serious drinking problem -wrong priorities. At least for the Germans even if they drink especially during Octoberfest they know to work hard.

  13. Haha pic #4 ,i must admit at first i thought zambia had bought weapons of mass destruction. Looks like some intercontinental ballistic missiles.

  14. I always look forward to the ‘week in pictures’ but nothing intresting here except for: Pics 4,5,6,7 = a very unproductive country of ambitiousless ignorant drunkards. But I love ZAMBIA and MOSI too, hahahaha happy weekend people!

  15. Anne Mwitwa asokoneza bantu.Anyway she has tuma features twa mushe.I can`t blame the man in you speaking through the keyboard.

  16. Nice to see a Zambian female government official not wearing fi fake Brazilian hair or fi weave, you look great Central Province permanent secretary Anne Mwitwa.

  17. Have Traditional Ceremonies become a business? When I was growing up, I only heard of the Kuomboka and Umutomboko. Now there are all sorts of ceremonies mushrooming everywhere, from some tribes I had never heard of before

    • Are you saying you have never heard of the Nsenga or Kaonde people? No wonder Ukwa thinks that Bembas are the only people in Zambia!

    • These ceremonies have been around for decades; just because a camera man shows up today and takes pictures with a digital camera doesn’t make it new, What are we passing over to our grand children with such shallow thinking.
      SHAME YOU!

  18. 21st Century expectations with 19th Century resources… Even Cecil Rhodes’ investments have been destroyed – so the road is now the only means for bulk transport!! What!?? Anyway, continue tearing speeches and draft constitutions…

  19. Ndola City must resurrect again. its much better now though the industrial area still looks like a ghost town

  20. this kneeling culture should be done away with because its fake ,,,, fake fake fake. used to be a time when there was a value to kneeling…… when zambians were real, respectful, hard working and full of morals. not any more so get rid of this relic… so annoying when you know that the kneeler is just paying lip service. nonsense!!!!

  21. Hahaha, @ 34-34.1 Malinso. Wansekesha mambala iwe. Chieftainess Mwanjawanthu is wearing vigamba and a petticoat…I guess it is traditional wear for you easterners. BTW, Scott is fluent in nyanja actually very fluent so, my assumption is, they were speaking nyanja (the nsenga equivalent).
And it’s actually true that, there too many tuma chiefs/chieftainesses mushrooming nowadays pa zed. Mwali kwi before PF?

I WILL SAY IT AGAIN: Anne Mwitwa is looking good….kuti nalya any day. I hope ba boss, taba lyako nabena.

  22. PIC# 13, 14 MINISTER SHAMENDA LOOKS FUNNY. LIKE A MR.SAUZANDE DRAMA ON ZNBC. SCOTT-GUY HAS SURE BEEN DEMOTED TO CHOLA BOY. SHAME.
PIC# 26 : SOME CHIEFS ARE REALLY DOWN TO EARTH !!! SURE WITH A PATA-PATA AT SUCH A FUNCTION. EMBARRASING FOR THE BEMBAS. AND SATA SAYS THE LITUNGA IS JUST LIKE ANY OTHER CHIEF!

  23. Haha, wewe #21 Enka wanichekesha ati WMD bwana? Zambia ni nchi ya walevi wanapenda fombe sana kuliko kazi hata hawajui ati WMD inatengenezwa ama kulindwa vipi.

  24. Pic 17-19 doesnt make us see all situation of the truck. Try taking pics from a distance to make would be viewers to see the extent of damage.
