Eight Die, Four Injured in Kalomo Road Accident

Eight people have died while four others sustained serious injuries after a Toyota Hiace minibus collided head-on with another vehicle in the Tara area of Kalomo.

The minibus, belonging to the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Church in Lusaka, was carrying 12 passengers from Livingstone to Lusaka at the time of the accident.

Confirming the incident, Moono Namalongo said the crash occurred after the driver of the Toyota Hiace minibus  allegedly failed to keep to her lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle before veering off the road.

Police have since launched investigations into the cause of the accident.

  1. Sad loss of life indeed .Driver should have kept the laws of God,the laws of the nation and the laws of physics to keep this terrible accident from happening.
