Former Works and Supply Minister Mike Mulongoti said it is unfortunate how the matter of clearing Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba and his Defense counterpart Geoffrey Mwamba of allegations of corruption can be treated so casually in the country.

Mr. Mulongoti has observed that people in the country are not satisfied with the way the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)has remained silent on revealing the reasons for not finding any evidence of allegations of corruption against the two Cabinet Ministers.

Mr. Mulongoti has told Qfm in an interview that there is no way people in the country will allow a matter that has been in public domain to be cleared in an unexplained manner as it involved Cabinet Ministers who had been allegedly accusing each other of alleged involvement in corrupt activities.

He has charged that no matter how long it takes, people in the country should be availed with the truth on how the two Cabinet Minister have been cleared of allegations of corruption they were facing.

  1. Ako ! Finally he speaks out.I wonder what even took him so long looking at how good he is when it comes to playing to the gallery.

    • Sure everyone who reads ur comments is able to tell who you support,PF. The country need objectivity not blind allegiance. This is killing African politics. If I was the president, I will fire all the advisers who will say yes to everything because I can do without them. ACC in this need to explain to nation,

  2. Sometimes things go wrong and a wrong is a wrong, ACC should say atleast say something that was researched so far among the two, GBM and this guy so called Kabimba, all the best!

  3. mr mulongoti do u evn now where tht came frm? that came frm those who opposed pf b4 it cud come to power. cn u furnish the acc with full information. ok mulogoti u store money frm my account. did u really steal? that might sound bad but the truth is that u hvn’t done that.

  4. People has mulongoti launched his political party?i hope he was not blakmailing pf so that they give him something with the talk of forming a party.

  5. Mulongoti has raised fundamental points that PF Govt want to gloss over when corruption exists in their govt. This is the only govt where a president has to be consulted by ACC before invetigating ministers. In other ways ministers can be as corrupted, stinking rich with corrupted aquired wealth without being investigated. That is what Sata calls transparency of PF govt.

  6. ACC at it again. This institution will never be independent so long as the president appoints all the key officers there. Maybe in the new constitution they should make all key senior appointments to be made by an independent technical committee from parliament.

  7. see batata ba Mulongoti, did you at one point say something about Chilubas acquittal? Is the message still in your small kamutwe or you chose to purposefully forget about such a grave mistake you made? we have not forgotten so shut up. lekeni abakwete isukulu balandeko

  8. no wonder our country is not moving forward, too many talkative chaps. He was minister of transport and communications but never bothered to leave good roads, lilya 50 bafwa ati iyo pf taleteka bwino, mmmmmmmmmmh mulongoti mwisho, tekeni bola panshi

  9. Allegations are always terrible if you are the one it is alleged that you did this or that. Its always tough to clear your name. Ask anyone who has been secretly reported of having done something when in actual fact has not, how they struggle to get his/her name cleared! One can spend sleepless nights for no fault of their own but just because of fabricated lies. Some people are bent to sort out the other for some right reason as they see it when in fact it is wrong and detriment to the other. Look at the way Zambian online print media has been portraying stories about people, usually false, fabricated and utter tracerous just a kill for a thrill. When you are caught up as humble culprit it can be tough to exculpate onself.
