Peters , 47, died last Saturday after collapsing during a social football match at Ndola Wanderers Grounds.

Ex-players who witnessed Peters’ send-off included Power coach Beston Chambeshi, Nkana great Musole Sakulanda and retired keeper Kennedy Kalale among others.

  4. Its a sad event ! RIP my brother .Kaunda Square will miss you. Savers lets us unity more and sorry for your loss!

  5. Only people that followed Zambian soccer in the late 80’s appreciate what you did to break the “colour barrier” on the Copperbelt. Genius of a defender you were. RIP.

  6. May the soul of Nick rest in peace. I hope this isn’t the Nick one Mushota has been talking about in most of her blogs. Just a piece of advice fellow bloggers and with due respect to you. Please do not direct your messages of condolences to our departed brother, he can’t and won’t read them. His spirits rests with his God. Rather address them to his family, yourselves and to God. All these 3 parties are alive. Obviously I don’t want to start a religious debate as we mourn our brother. I however stand with his family in this sad time and pray to God to strengthen them. Amen.

  7. As a life long Power supporter, I do remember Nick rising from the B side where he played alongside the likes of ” Starter Joe ” Joseph Nhunika to the A side where he played at right back, competing for that position with Charles ” Ninja” Kafula and Joseph Mwewa in the early 80s. Nick was infact very close to Mr Fred Mwila and the late Alex Chola. MHSRIP and condolences to the family, Savers Madalas, and all who knew this wonderful man.
