Warriors Come Back to Chop Down Forest

Kabwe Warriors maintained their four-match unbeaten run when they defeated troubled Forest Rangers 2-1 at Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu Stadium in Kabwe.

However, Warriors were forced to come from behind after Forest striker Owen Kaposa had put the Ndola side ahead in the 41st minute.

And that is how scores stayed going into the break as memories of their opening day 1-0 loss at the hands of Zesco United on March 16 came rushing back for Warriors.

But veteran striker Owen Mwendabi saved Warriors day with a brace in the 58th and 82nd minutes to extend promoted Warriors’ unbeaten run to four games in which they have picked 10 out of a possible 12 points.
