Power Beat Napsa Stars

Power Dynamos on Saturday ended a five game winless streak with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Napsa Stars at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.

Goals from midfielder Julius Situmbeko and winger Simon Bwalya aided Power to their first home win of the 2013 FAZ Super Division campaign.

Situmbeko put Power in front with a low header one minute into the first half additional time.
Bwalya doubled Power’s lead with a long range shot six minutes afte the restart.

However, Napsa striker Adubelo Phiri caused panic in the Power camp when he scored against his former club in the 83rd minute to ensure a dramatic end to this Week Six fixture.
Phiri’s goal motivated Peter Kaumba’s Napsa to press for an equaliser that never came.

Power have increased their tally to nine points while Napsa are stuck on four points after six matches.
