The Tribunal appointed to probe the alleged professional misconduct of two High Court Judges and One Supreme Court Judge says it will procced sittings against Justice Phillip Musonda.
Tribunal Secretary Chipili Katunasa says this follows the grant of a stay of proceedings against High Court Judges Charles Kajimanga and Nigel Mutuna by the Ndola High Court.
This is contained in a statement released to media by Ms Katunasa in Lusaka today.
Supreme Court Judge Musonda is not part to the stay granted by the Ndola High Court.
Judges Mutuna and Kajimanga have questioned the legality of the Lovemore Chikopa Tribunal appointed by President Michael Sata.
In order of the most corrupt.
Nchito and Mmembe just have to pay back what they stole from Zambians.
Why foreign judge here bcoz the despot does not trust zambian judges soon he wud flood the judiciary with pf cadres like the pf police.wat a mess! Zambia under curse.
Musonda has always been the weakest link in this fight, is he not the same chap who apologised to Ukwa at some point?
@Kay- Can you expand on your point. I do not remember Judge Musonda apologising to President Sata. I however remember retired Judge Anthony John Nyangulu apologising to late President Mwanawasa in a matter concerning judicial review on the legality of appointing opposition members of parliament to ministerial positions. I await to be educated by you.
So the AG is not appealing to the Supreme court?
Good stance by judge Musonda. The quilty are always afraid. Mutuna and Kajimanga are already guilty, that’s why they have been playing monkey tricks buying time, not knowing it’s to their disadvantage. Soon Mudala you will be free ,the fools will regret for the rest of their lives. If RB can be investigated, who are they not to face the law? No one is above the law. Let the law take it’s course.
One courageous Judge ready to clear his name. The guilty are afraid.
He is already at court doing the needful.lol
PF should know that their end will soon be and will be disasterous.God is just watching their folly.
I doubt if the ministry of justice is not the most corrupt in Za
mbia becouse its corrupt judges who feel protected by their fellow corrupt judges. Of all they are the only ones above the law.
…and if tribunal is found to be unconstitutional, then what?
