Zambeef Director, Carl Irwin, has disclosed that Zambeef products look set to generate record export earnings this year.
In a statement made available to ZANIS in Lusaka yesterday Mr Irwin said this has made Zambeef the single largest foreign exchange earner for the country.
Mr Irwin said Zambeef has already recorded export income of K 137 million in the first nine months of this financial year to the end of June.
He added that he also expects the final figure to exceed K193 million by the end of this financial year.
Mr Irwin explained that Zambeef overseas sales make it among the largest exporters in the country, contributing around 1.5 per cent of all of Zambia’s non-traditional exports of around K9.5 billion.
He said Zambeef is one of the members of the Zambia Development Agency’s (ZDA) elite Million Dollar Club of leading exporters.
Mr Irwin said according to the Central Statistical Office (CSO), the country’s total exports, including traditional metal exports, for the first six months of 2013 were K27.8 billion.
He said Zambeef is a proudly Zambian firm and its directors and management believe strongly in the importance of contributing to the nation’s economy.
Mr Irwin stressed that Zambeef, being a Zambian company, remits all tax paid on its income back into Zambia.
He stated that a large proportion of Zambeef’s export earnings is generated by its Zamanita edible oils subsidiary and from its Novatek animal feeds and Zamleather divisions.
….Mr Irwin also said; Zambeef is also a killer of hapless and innocent poor Zambians by feeding them to laced “Aromatic Alderlyne” poisoned cacarsses of imported ‘Horse’ hoofs, tripe, matumbo etc. It won’t be long when ALL of them will start dying slowly and then we can take over the Country like before but this time for good….

That’s good news for ZRA I only hope the government will put to good use the income that they we are earning as a nation from taxing comapanies like Zambeef. Secondly Zambeef is not a Zambian company how can it be when the board of directors are mostly basungu who are not Zambians and don’t care about Zambians, they say very bad things about Zambians when they meet and consider us as useless people. All of Zambeef’s top management are white except for a few rubber stamp Zambians. We need indigenisation the same way it is done in Zimbabwe and Godwilling one day the PF government will see the light and do the right thing by sending this racist basungu out! Even the ones that were in the forefront of using aromatic aldehydes were not Zambians but expatriates. Immigration plis do your job!

People still buy Zambeef? Zambians have hearts i would be so scared every time i taste that meat.
And we are still waiting for the ministry of health to take legal action against this company. This is merely positive spin why doesn’t he state exactly what Zambeef has been exporting.
