Share

Second placed Nkana returns to league action after a two-month absence on Saturday when they face visiting Green Buffaloes in a FAZ Super Division Week 19 match at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

Nkana have never played a competitive match since beating Power Dynamos 2-0 in the big Kitwe derby on July 3 in Wusakile.

The Kitwe giants contributed more than five players to the home based Chipolopolo squad that was involved in the July COSAFA Cup and the ended 2014 CHAN qualifying campaign.

Nkana and Buffaloes are separated by two points going into Saturday’s fixture in Kitwe.

The two teams drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture played at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka on 13 April.

Nkana, who are on 32 points have played two games less than third placed Buffaloes, who sits on 30 points.

This which will see Buffaloes Coach Patrick Phiri visit Chilata for the first time to face Nkana the club he helped to lift their last league title in 2001.
