Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) president Nevers Mumba has called for the impeachment of republican President Michael Sata for allegedly failing to govern the nation.
Dr. Nevers Mumba said President Sata has failed to govern the nation as evidenced from the shortages of essential drugs such as ARVs and BCG vaccines in health centres.
Dr. Mumba stated that some PF members themselves have seen that they have failed to perform to the expectations of the Zambian people and are now openly declare that the ruling party is dead.
He added that the PF was the worst experiment that the people of Zambia have made in the history of the country but that it is not too late to correct that mistake.
Dr Mumba added that President Sata should emulate the former ruling party which gave him freedom to hold public rallies without interference which made him win the 2011 General elections.
Dr. Mumba explained that if the MMD never gave chance to Mr. Sata to hold public rallies freely, he would have never tasted the presidency.
He has since called on Members of Parliament to consider raising a motion in parliament to impeach the President for failing to perform his duties as a Republican President which he swore to perform.

I really don’t understand the thinking capacity of some PF/UPND inclined cadres.Surely do you have to wait for compeletion of building the whole house,when you’ve noticed that the foundation is not right and the wall structure is off the mark?.When that wrong thing is noticed,it has to be corrected immediately.We don’t has have to wait for 2016, leting the country being ruined hoping for this constructed structure to be corrected later in the process.This kind of thinking is dangerous.The damage to the country maybe too huge to correct in future.

Impeachment is uncalled for. Mr Mumba you have to concentrate on building your image if you want to contest for the presidency of Zambia. Develop your language etiquette, and style and mannerism and starting projecting a state-mans image is you are to be taken serious. Dr Mumba is right,Michael Sata should be impeached.But the problem is that Sata’s minions in parliament,especially his dull and tribal cabinet ministers,will block the impeachment process.Sata’s brutal and incompetent regime will be ended by a combined opposition campaign to win all future by-elections.
The masses should also be sensitized to take to the streets to demonstrate against Sata’s failed rule.The PF cannot withstand a strong campaign to expose its lies and illegal activities.
