The chartered Proflight Airplane Number Po504 that was seen off by former Defense Deputy Minister in the MMD Government under Mwanawasa’s government, Mr. Mwendoi Akakandelwa and other Barotse activists today at Kenneth Kaunda International at exactly 12:35hrs with former Ngambela Clement Sinyinda on board touched down Mongu airstrip at around 14:40hrs amid tight security.

The defiant crowd that waited for his arrival went into jubilation and singing as they saw their leader come back home from detention.

Police fired shots in the air to scare away the crowds, who scampered in various directions almost causing an uncontrollable situation.

“We are proud that our people have once again resisted the temptation and provocation from Zambia to get violent, because we don’t understand why all this behavior from the police on a peaceful crowed” lamented one activist leader.

“They are telling people not to be here at the airport because they claim Mr Sinyinda is not an official dignitary, so there was no need for the people to be at the airport, but rather they should have waited at his (Sinyinda’s) home to welcome him. This behavior is very disappointing because the airport is a public place anyway.” another Barotse National Freedom Movement official said.

Mr Sinyinda who came on the chartered plane alone, was told by the police not to address the crowed as a condition, and that he had to be escorted by the police all the way to his residence.

Meanwhile the streets of Mongu leading to Mr Sinyinda’s residence from the airstrip was full of his enthusiasts who waved, sang and danced as his motorcade drove past them.

Mr. Sinyinda’s house which was earlier thoroughly searched by police is right now a hive of activities, and that he has safely arrived under heavy police escort.

“We believe the police failed to arrest him because of the multitudes who refused to leave the airstrip vowing to rather die with their leader than allow the police to arrest him again. And man look at this welcome, it is more than that of the Zambian head of state. We are happy the people came out here to receive their Sope” concluded the official.

    • That police presence and action was unnecessary, even escorting him to his resdence yaba!!! they have just made Sinynda MORE popular than he has ever been before!!

    • @Saulosi, when your Sata was busy with Judge Ngoma recruiting in Kalingalinga, no one accused him of cult. Prime Minister Sinyinda deserves a thunderous welcome, same what KK received after signing the Bartoseland Disagreement. One day Western Province will be Utopia, let them fight for it.
I warn you and your PF to stop gassing people, can’t police take a break to go and grow some maize? Its rain season.

    • Jealousy Saulosi.
I wonder where your illusions are taking you. Your imagination of a “cult” is an indication that, you should seek for medical treatment real soon.
Be informed that Sinyinda is a former Prime Minister of Barotseland, a diligent leader and a person just like us, the loving and peaceful ones.
Saulosi, just invisibly your own family as a small cult. Grow up and get some help from your problems. Its not too late.

    • Western Province not only has sand and cashew nuts. There is also rice, sorghum, cassava, national parks, rivers, fish , cattle , timber etc not forgetting human beings!

    • @Nostradamus and Skeleton…ha ha ha i can see that your limited command of the queens language has made you to misunderstand my post. “Cult following” is an idiom which means a person with a celebrity status(and a sizable fan base) and not cult as you think.Yaba bwafya ! Lol

    • Guys, please don’t take this Saulosi seriously he lacks breadth and depth….he did not even know what 46664 in relation to Mandela means.

  1. It seems this government likes shooting itself in the foot. Why stop people from going to see their ‘celebrity’ at a public facility? This Ngambela wouldn’t have had coverage if the police let it be but alas PF and its comical ways of governing take centre stage now he looks like the victim of PF persecution.

  2. They should have used the Zambzezi river at dawn, like the way someone was ushered out by the Seal team by being off loaded on the sea simple!

    • @ 5.Cindy…. Hhmmmmmmnnnn? Why all that mulamu Cindy, how can you delete that? I tried with a rubber, with utumate, to scratch that comment off. Cindy, thats not cool mulamu, find a way to apologise.

    • ” Zambzezi?!!!!!!!” Sorry with your promotion of violence. Please, have respect for others with their rights to life.
Barotseland is for freedom, liberty and justice. Uzakula liti, tikulizile ngoma?

    • Guys that was deliberate just to pull your legs which has worked perfectly seeing how you are firing up! I will leave you to guess so I wont explain what I meant, be a bit humorous even when things are tense, it either fuels the tension up or lightens it up. Sorry Guys didnt mean to offend any of you, I will never make such jokes over serious issues, at least I will try not to.

    • you’re da dog yourself pit for u a grade 1 chap, who does not understand this important matter, why did your gvt. fail 2 prosecute them if at all there was any crime committed, masiba ahaho once more

    • @Them ,Lozi selfishness? What is it that they have denied you? What is it of yours have they taken from you? Why the blood hell did your Prime Minister sign the Barotse Agreement. Honour your signature!

  3. In the end these overzealous policemen will end up shooting down a passenger plane all in quest to reign supreme over defenceless villagers. Where were they when Panga welding PF were squaring up in Lusaka, I thought that would have been a more appropriate time to bring law and order. Olo ni kuzonda balozi mwati ni so!

  4. @them, hatred against lozi will not help you. hate them or not, they have a country. this reality will bit you soon, badly. and if they mobilize to fight, you will not stand them.

  5. Mr Sinyinda you are great and courageous Barotse national and leader. The struggle you and the other Barotse nationalists have embarked upon is a honorable and just one and it should continue until Barotseland is liberated from the evil shackles of the failed state of Zambia and their idiotic and confused leaders. The road to liberation is never easy – look at the Great Nelson Mandela (MHSRIP) and South Africa. They can arrest, maim and even kill you but I know they will never kill the resolve and determination of the Barotse people for total independence.

  6. O.k u lozis r really dreamers and jokers,do u really bliv u’ll break from zambia?u r first class dummies and dat So called Syninda of urs as kno heart 4 all the people’s lives he is toying wit.he is such a moron

    • Just listen to yourself. U are so much of a diluded, pathetic moron yourself that you are failing to recognise yourself as such! Kolwestan!

  7. I have one nephew his name is Munu Kayumbwa, I do not know what to do with him when Mongu becomes independent. I will have him deported. so that he can go and enjoy cashew nuts. why keep people who want to burry their heads in the sand.

    • Oh dear back to your Mushindo university, you prick! To answer your question . No Lozi is not the only tribe in Western Province because there’s no tribe called Lozi in Western Province! Lozis are people who belong to the more than 25 tribes in Western Province. Sinyinda is a Luyi by tribe. His tribal language is Siluyana. His lingua franca or national language common to all tribes in Western Province is Silozi.

    • @mwenda. is a tribe. don’t give us f**lish lectures. lozi’s are evil. i have lived with them. so self centered and full of themselves

    • @Silozi back to your Mushindo university fullish cannibalist! You are the one who is evil judging by your sitipudi comments concerning Lozis, HH, Tongas etc!

You can shout and create your own 1diotic facts about Lozis. But the truth is Lozis are not a tribe. That idea only exists in the heads 1diots like you. Please go and write about your primitive tribe whatever it is!

    • There is no tribe called Lozi or Rotse in Barotseland. Lozi or Kololo is a lingua franca derived from the Kololo who had subjugated Lyondo around 1830s to about 1864.There is close to 38 tribes in Barotseland whose common language is Silozi re Luyi, Kwangwa, Mbunda, Luvale, Nkoya….. in that order.

  8. We have enough from these idiots, why cant we sort this case once and for all, let them start by asking their fellow imbeciles to leave Zambia and we will take them serious. One Zambia one matha f.a.c.k.i.n.g nation and as such no tribe should be singled out for special treatment including our thieving bemba brothers.

    • He is Ngambela ie Prime Minister. The Barotse have always had a sophiscated system of government. It is not a new post. They have had it for centuries. The Ngambela is chosen from ordinary folk and not from royalty. He is the one who runs the govt. Ngambela is Siluyana for ‘one who speaks for the people’. The Litunga or King is a titular Head! The Barotse should not be made to change their institutions simply because there are people like you who feel slighted!
