Former Zambia’s Deputy High Commissioner to India Andrew Banda has charged that the Patriotic Front (PF) Eastern Province Chairperson Lameck Mangani is allegedly more of a desperate job seeker than a Leader.
Mr. Banda who is also son of former republican president Rupiah Banda wonders how Mr. Mangani has lost respect for the Former Head of State when they were together advocating for change and good governance.
Mr. Banda says it is also unfortunate that Mr. Mangani is allegedly trading in lies in order to safe guard his job in the PF.
The former diplomat has further noted that Mr. Mangani’s attitude also explains why the former Head of State demoted him from the position of Home Affairs Minister to the position of deputy minister.

The thinking mode in the PF system and its government is extremely pathetic. How on this Planet Earth could a political Party that claims to be “anti-corruption” turn out to be in the forefront to appoint the most corrupt individuals such as Lameck Mangani as a regional leader in Eastern Province. Mangani lost twice in Chipata Central. Yet the Eastern Region of Zambia is endowed with some of the most brilliant brains in Zambia.
It is obvious that Mangani, Kabimba, Mmembe, Masebo, Nchito, Lombe Chibesakunda, Prof. Luo, Mumba Malila, Musa Mwenye, Daniel Munkombwe, etc will constitute a major factor that will contribute to the eventual downfall of PF. The whole Nation is watching. God Hear Our Prayers
