Striker Emmanuel Mayuka on Tuesday continued his agonising wait for game time at Southampton.
The Zambia striker was an unused substitute in Southampton’s 2-1 away win over Arsenal in a League Cup third round tie in London.
Southampton coach Ronald Koeman kept Mayuka on the bench despite his side facing a second string Arsenal.
The Dutchman instead kept faith the entire 90 minutes in his favoured attacking pair of Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic.
Mayuka has now been on the bench for four consecutive competitive matches.
And in France, defender Stopilla Sunzu was sideline at the last minute on Tuesday night after making 14th placed Sochaux Ligue 2 game against 4th positioned Brest that ended 0-0.
mwaiche wandi mayuka, chili shani kanshi?
How about considering going back to a less competitive league where you were featuring prominently.
The best for emmanuel mayuka is to move to a club that can make use of him. Sitting without game time will finish him even when he has abilities to play. A second division clus will look at him as an asset and give him playing time. So Mayuka make the right desicion.
the man is just 23 years since 2009 hes still have a good future by the time hes 26 in 2020.
Kekekekeke that is good maths right there.
No Mayuka is young, he was 16 in Canada in 2007. So 2014-2007 = 7 years ago. 16 + 7 = 23Yrs old.
He is finished please no pressure Zanaco need him maybe
He should bide his time, a chance is already in front of him. He should impress in practice and one game show his mettle. He is already in the premier league, all he ha to do is open his eyes wide and play marvelously. Stop being negative Nancy’s Zambians.
Wolves are after Mayuka. Mayuka should immediately sit down with his agent and ask for a transfer request so he can join Wolves. He can do very well at that club. He needs to act now
The opportunity for Mayuka to play for Wolverhampton wanderers in the championship is a golden one. People in England don’t know mayuka. Going to wolves on loan will help build his reputation in the UK. It’s a splendid move. Mayuka should immediately pursue his agent and inform wolves management he wants to join on loan.
Was he the only one on the bench not used?
Mayuka should immediately issue a come and get me plea to Wolves it will be the best decision of his career. Kenny Jacket the wolves coach likes him and will give him a chance and he can make a name in the UK which will open him many doors. It is f00lish for Mayuka to continue wasting his time at southampton when it is clear they will not use him at all.
@shaa
You are a problem, confirm mayuka is still 23 since 2009 & he will be 26 in 2020,kikkikikikikikikiki, u have my day.
This boy must also be warming the bench in training! !
Southampton are winning and are second on table, better than ManU. So why change the winning set of players? And for Mayuka to make bench is even a huge achievement, just pray that one of those 2 strikers get injured.
