Zambia moved into second place in Group F after a 3-0 home win over Niger on Wednesday.
Zambia sneaked into second place on five points, displacing Mozambique who lost 1-0 away to cape verde in the late Group F kickoff in Praia.
Rainford Kalaba and Emmanuel Mayuka were on target in the 58th and 73rd minutes after a first half they dominated but were poor in front of goal.
Goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene then stepped up to convert the final goal from the penalty spot after Given Singuluma was brought down in the box.
Meanwhile, Cape Verde scored a 75th minute goal through Heldon to move them to 9 points.
….that dull Niger keeper let his side down over and over again.
Yawn…
who cares?
Thanks
Oppressors: Kambwili (goal keeper), Mwaliteta (Defense), Jay Jay (Midfield), Field Ruwe, C.Katongo (Striker). Coach: Renard
Vs.
Zambia: Mweene, Sunzu, Kalaba, Chisamba, Bruce, Mayuka, Singuluma. Coach Janza
Referee: Ndobo
Match Commisioner: Saulosi
Final score: Zambia 3 – 1 Oppressors
UPND (Janza) 3- 0 PF (Kambwili).
You PF has been proved wrong, Janza can do it if he follow our (me & you) advise.
– We told him to STOP wearing suits…. he complied.
– We told him to start standing on the line and no inferior complex because of ukufita…. he complied.
Next we give him the line-up.
Mushota, you seem to care. Otherwise why would you bother to read the story, and even to comment on it? Just wondering
Mmmm ba @Nastradamus, UPND (Janza) 3 – 0 PF (Kambwili)!? Are you sure Janza is UPND or you think every Tonga or anybody with a Tonga sounding name (Janza) is automatically a UPND stooge?
Talk about “farting” tribalism/politics at a wrong time, wrong place, and wrong topic. Some of you people need to get a grip and have a life. No wonder UPND ain’t going nowhere—you seem to have been hypnotized by TRIBALISM!!
Lets hear what C. KATONGO HAS TO SAY
Ati Christopher was found with vudu mu camp
Prefect !! Now all we have to do is win either of the two remaining games and draw the other one. We must beat Cape Verde when they come to Ndola and maybe push for a draw in Maputo. A win in Maputo and a draw is Ndola is another option. Having watched the boys i think their problem has been psychological and not tactical as such. Kalusha and his cronies at FAZ must organise a motivational speaker for the team. They need to be psyched up !!
@Saulosi, kikikiki amazing, I didn’t know you know how to watch football.
Motivational speaker = Nostradamus….. and for FREEE
@Saulosi,If I recall when suggestions were made to get an expatriate coach, you made a comment ati ni muzungu ani konde.konde. Well who was the white guy on the Zambian bench? You could see the difference.HJ was just standing on the touch line holding his chin clueless, while the muzungu was busy taking notes in the first half and then what see happened in the second half.
I still maintain HJ is clueless. He is the one to be assistant and let the Dutch coach be the coach.
@Mushota, you always make me laugh. Am always looking forward to your comments. You are full of humor. Keep it up because you always make my days look greater and relaxed. Take care.
Are you a house wife to look forward to mushota’s comments?
Mushota find yourself a doctor, you really need help.
Thanks
Congrats chipolopolo lads, wishing you victories in the rest of the games.
You guys should learn how to ignore the attention seeker mushota or mushote.
@1.2 NOSTRA-ANUS no wonder UPND has never gone anywhere/ is not going nowhere/ will never go anywhere; HJ is your man! Find somebody else, i know that unlike pf, upnd lacks strategy from its president down to cadres and puppies no one can strategise. Infact upnd is a social media party not one that wants to rule. Hj lacks attributes of a good coach. Does he have suits?
While PF is busy campaigning for 2016 through developmental projects, HH and other directinless opposition leaders are sleeping and are even scared to hold rallies for lack of numbers! With RB’s intention of coming back, this further reduces the fortunes (if any) of UPND. Meanwhile I have just driven over Chiawa or sorry Michael C Sata Bridge.
Chiawa bridge is a NOT a pf initiated project. It was startted by MMD and partially funded by the development Bank.Like it or not once pf is out of power whether it is after 100 years the bridge will be renamed.
last week the team was PF today it is UPND. I hope you will not bring it back. I like ZW reporting no mention of kambwili and PF they just said ZAMBIA HAS WON
Live wire wandepula thats why PF shud continue these ukwalola umwela eko basangwa parties shud never be trusted .ku subsid eko baya, constution eko baya, wage freez mwalabamona. FWAYO TEMBO WORK HARD
Good win though a lot of work needed to qualify.
You are right.Especialy the defence and coordition was poor.Mayuka should not be like chris katongo.Learn to pass the ball when need arises, don’t be selfish.Kalaba is being overworked and all players should learn from him.All the same congrants Zambia.
That was a fluke win! wait for cape verde. you will dance chikokoshi. unless you remove that fossied coach! The guy has no clue. Can’t read the match! Had it not been for Lahbom another loss was going to be on its way! Thats why bazungus feel superior over us bachifita.
You have just exposed your inferiority complex … do you even know if that dutch man is qualified. Even after 50 years of independence still find zambians like you, muzungu is better …. shame!
@YAKUNA u’re nothing but an empty tin, an empty tin always makes a lot of noise!!!!!!!!
Congrats to Zambia. very proud and will always be proud to be a Zambian living in Zambia enjoying in Zambia. for better for worse Zambia is mine and mine forever. we can do it. We just need to win all the 2 remaining games otherwise we wont be seeded and that may spell being grouped with giants and giant killers like DRC who gave Ivory Coast hell yesterday
Don’t worry about giants. What GIANTS anyway? We have slain the so called GIANTS before—it is Zambia’s specialty. Let us just cheer the boys on for now. Who we face at AFCON does not matter. Been there and done that!
Every team that qualifies will have their stomachs in knots facing Zambia, giant or not. THIS, THEY ALL KNOW! A bad performance at a single tournament does NOT mean Zambia is third rate in Africa. Egypt couldn’t even qualify for AFCON to defend the cup. If I am not mistaken, Egypt has failed to qualify twice in a role. Now, any team would be foolish to take Egypt for granted if they qualify this time around, wouldn’t they? That’s football brother—you got to tangle with the best to be the best!
We have finally broken the Jinx by Winning. We hope to continue with the same spirit. congratulations guys. Kennedy, Bruce musakanya and kalaba did it for me.
Cheers
A good win at a desperate time.Though a win should not paper over the cracks, the team needs to improve especially the much needed cutting edge in front of goal.We need to stabilize the defensive lapses and solidity in the midfield,we need to take a foothold of games and control the pace throughout.Congratulations on the win.
You Hater Jay Jay,aren’t you posting?I feel for you.Your hate boils in you because you have dissapointed your parents.Under 17 women, women caf and under 17 first time have made it.Oh, even the under 20 have qualified.Evely thing has a beinging. That you should alwalys remember.Kalu has scored against you.Abakali baleka ifipuba filebosa.
Meant begining.
iwe how can you say that the whites are superior than us, ubobupuba and remember the tongue is very strong, cause whatever you say with yr tongue will surely come to pass but you should exclude us and say the whites are superior than ene ne chimubulaki, dont include us in stupid things and learn to value yr self.
