It is with deep sorrow that the Anglican Diocese of Lusaka has learnt of the passing on of His Excellence the President of the Republic of Zambia Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata.
Mr. Sata was a Man mandated by God to rule this country in accordance with the election mandate of 2011.
The Diocese of Lusaka, the Bishop and indeed on my own behalf, would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the Republic of Zambia and the Sata family.
In the same vein, we would like to implore the peace loving Zambians to continue embracing love and peace across the country. We pray against any form of hate and discord from any section of the country and that God will continue show us favour.
Yours in Christ’s Service
The Rev. Fr Katete Jackson Jones
SPOKESPERSON -ANGLICAN DIOCESE OF LUSAKA
Good riddance! And I will keep saying it again and again, I wish he could be cremated right there in the UK. That man does not deserve a state funeral. He squandered millions upon millions of dollars of Zambian health aid while our children died in droves for lack of proper health care and nutrition.
Whichever way you look at it, it’s sad that we lost two presidents in such a short time. I also worry about the costs i.e. jubilee celebrations, state funeral, presidential bye elections etc.
God bless Zambia.
Solola Bye!
Adalistso ndie usatana manje ubu…mukondewla painfa ya muntu…I am sure the devil is with here
The Anglicane diocese forgot to mention the Catholic church. Ba Sata was a Catholic member.
