Zambia’s overseas-based stars who were part of last week’s successful 2015 Africa Cup qualifiers returned to their day jobs over the weekend.
ARMENIA
Midfielder Lubambo Musonda was not selected for league leaders Ulisses 2-1 home loss to third placed Shirak on Saturday.
RUSSIA
Midfielder Chisamba Lungu came off the bench in the 63rd minute to create fourth from bottom Ural’s only goal in their 3-1 home loss to 8th placed Rubin Kazan.
SWITZERLAND
Midfielder Nathan Sinkala was not selected for sixth placed Grasshopper’s 3-2 home win in the Zurich derby win over bottom placed Luzern.
ISRAEL
Defender Emmanuel Mbola and striker Evans Kangwa started in 8th position Hapoel Ra’anana 1-0 away loss to Maccabi Netanya who are above them in 7th placed.
However, Kangwa was substituted in the 68th minute.
Pardon me please. When I saw the title of this article I just assumed it was talking about a hit-list that had been uncovered to eliminate some PF troublemakers.
Same, the jungle journalists did it again.
Every time I read the professionals hit list, our captain is always on the bench, if he ever comes on its the last five minutes, but then this our captain! I strongly suggest that Mweene should have been our captain, he has the charisma and consistency which is lacking in our current captain. I don’t see him command influence on the pitch. Beside Mweene has served quiet long.
What is wrong with clifford mulenga? remember how we treated singuluma
What of Chris Katongo scoring and Collin Mbesuma scoring the goal of the week in South africa? He probably scored one of the best goals i have ever seen.Zambia still needs these guys.GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.
