Coach Justin Chinama says Choma Green Eagles exceeded their target by finishing seventh in the ended FAZ Super League campaign.
Chinama said Eagles’ aim after returning to the Super League this year was just to survive relegation.
The ex-Green Buffaloes coach said he was satisfied with the performance of his Choma based club.
“We went above our aim which was just to remain in the Premier League regardless of the position but we finished seventh.
“Finishing seventh in the league was something big for us,” Chinama said.
He hailed the support from club owners Zambia National Service (ZNS).
“The sponsors were equal to the task of managing the club. ZNS gave us bonuses and salaries on time.
” We worked together as coaches, players, the executive and sponsors,” he said.
Chinama added:”The competition was tough this season as you saw the league was decided on the final day.
