Power Dynamos heads to Sudan

Power Dynamos on Tuesday night leaves Kenya for Sudan to face Al Khartoum in Saturday night’s away 2015 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round, first leg tie.

Coach Tenant Chilumba is carrying a 20-man squad selected at the end of a ten-day training camp in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.

“We will be flying out on Tuesday at 23h55 and will are expected to land in Khartoum around 02:45,” Power team manager Lombe Chipupu said.

In Nairobi, the Kitwe club played three friendly games in which they beat Gor Mahia 3-0 before losing 1-0 to Sofapaka and drew 2-2 with Nakumat FC.

“Our outing to Nairobi has been fruitful,” Chipupu said.

Meanwhile, Chilumba has dropped injured striker Felix Sunzu from the Sudan bound squad.

Sunzu is said to have in sustained the unspecified injury in the friendly against Gor Mahia.

  2. They made good preperatory compared to national team, they camped in neigbouring country NOT SA, they reach their final destination 4 days in advance, NOT hours before the game. Chilumba, that’s very good plan of action.
