Police have arrested Director of Public Prosecutions Mutembo Nchito.
Mr Nchito has since been detained at Chongwe Police in a cell.
He is expected to appear ?in court this afternoon at 14:30 Hours.
Mr Nchito was picked up from his Kabulonga residence this morning and taken to Chongwe for questioning amid tight security.
The DPP who appeared calm? was wearing a brown cap, a blue T-shirt, loose trousers and white sneakers.
Next ??? I think it will be Dr Mathandi. What is your guess??

What is dark in this is case is that a citizen complained on behalf of government. Yes told Sata to fire Mutembo Nchito, unfortunately he decided to fire Kabimba who was merely hated by people, and criminals Mutembo remained.

It is that very “fear” of the cartel that has allowed them to “bounce back” and cement their evil position in the corridors of power. It takes a galant man to take them on and one with purpose to confine them to the fringes of power. And every man has his time and Fred M’membe’s (who is the architect of the cartel) time finished the day Kabimba was fired.

And what about the high court order? I have issues with Mmembe and Nchito’s DBZ loan. But this certainly not the way it should be done! President Lungu is commander inchief of the armed forces. He is not the one ochestrating any of these criminal charges. The people the Cartel hurt have just seen the sun rise. They know that whether it be President Lungu, Nawakwi, General Miyanda or HH, they have no allies remaining.
